Luka,Reeves and smart are the big 3. I'll say this, LeBron has behaved (off ball and more effort) , it won't last. Especially toward playoffs. Once his ego goes, then ayton will. I already seen him going back to old ways on defense.

NBA fans and media are extreme casuals and for some reason their brains see very small sample sizes and extrapolate the result of those games across almost 100 games. The NBA media aren't basketball fans they just watch basketball sometimes, or watch highlight clips before they air their segments. Even the ex-players who turn commentator – they don't watch games, at least most of them. The ones that actually like watching tape and are smart end up being involved with NBA teams on their coaching staffs.
The media landscape is apocalyptic for NBA, even much of the independent youtube content is just sensationalized slop now. They've cropped all of the gameplay out of the game

Marcus Smart is definitely a huge boost with the Big 3. However, the bigger factor, than merely inserting Smart, is removing Rui. The fit hasn't worked – essentially 3 players that are more Forwards. This leaves Reaves as the lone perimeter defender. Much of the problem has been less about Luka/Reaves defense and far more related to Rui's awkward fit which reduces the lineup to 1 single perimeter player:
Luka LeBron AR w Rui: -1.4
Luka LeBron AR w/o Rui: +13.0
Luka LeBron AR w Smart: +15.6
Luka LeBron AR w Jake: +10.5
Luka LeBron AR w Luke: +41.1

The Pacers tanking is blatant, egregious, shameful and obviously pre-planned. Haliburton is a great player and an integral part of the team, but they shouldn't be this bad without him – they should be at least a 35 to 40 win team, not a 20 win team. Look at how well the Celtics have done with their best player out for the majority of the season. The league should fine the Pacers millions for this deliberate clown show of a season.
Honestly I don’t get why when Smart is out Bronny doesn’t get a shot. He’s obviously not the same defender but he’s your next best athletic guard defender. He’s also producing in terms of deflections and steals. Also when you look at Smarts 3 point shot diet and how Bronny shoots they line up pretty well.
