Why is Alvarado playing when Kolek just got done playing like an all star ?

If Deuce (and everyone else) is healthy come post season, Mike Brown will have many bench choices, McBride, Shamet, Clarkson, Big Mitch, Alvarado, and Diawara. He won’t play 11, but he’ll have choices depending on matchups.

Who plays in the playoffs is dependent on matchups. The bench is never set in stone.
Kolek needs more minutes Alvarado is hit or miss when he comes in and at times he's just soaking up minutes with no production where Kolek can change how the offense is ran especially when Brunson has struggled to score and pass
Jose is inconsistent I was wondering why he was given up so easily but luckily he plays defense. I want to see him and Mcbride together the ball pressure will go up in that second unit
How about this starting 5 when the playoffs come?
Jalen Brunson (PG), Mikal Bridges (SG), OG Anunoby (SF), KAT (PF), Mitchell Robinson (C)? KAT will move over to center whenever Robinson needs to sit.
Off the bench: Kolek, also for scoring, Clarkson, purely for offense, Hart, his game has been inconsistent lately and he seems best in close situations and when anyone needs to rest, Diawara, Deuce McBridge, he may not be at full strength by the playoffs and this will allow him to rest or sit if he legs aren’t where they need to be, and GTA5 for defense.
