  1. Great coverage Brad. It was awesome to hear your questions to Coach Snyder in the Post Game Press Conference. Big W

  2. Thanks Brad. That was a fun game to watch, felt like the playoffs. Great win, and on national TV. By the way the announcers today on ESPN were really entertaining. Mark Jones is underrated.

  3. kispert really living the dream life. check in, throw up some 3s, get picked on for 10-20 minutes a night, then get paid like 10m

  4. Props to Dyson for busting his butt out there but this game should be exhibit A on “why Atlanta should spend major resources at center to help Okongwu.”

  5. Hawks turned the ball over far too many times and that’s why the Pistons were in the game. Those lateral passes they like to attempt cause a lot of those turnovers. Real excellent win but the schedule is really challenging down the stretch. They need to win 5 of the remaining nine to assure their playoff passage.

  6. Brad why does Quin not play Mo in these "need a single stop" possessions, or when we need someone to defend an athletic centre? Does he not trust him to execute defensive scheme? Does he think he's not strong enough? He seems a clearly better defender than CJ, jock etc.

  7. Kumingas turnovers were one trying to say the ball from going out of bounds and two losing a ball from a rebound that he never really had possession of in the first place so he really had zero turnovers. Even the stat guys are trying to screw over this kid

  8. Huge onyeka fan , defended him from years from the “he’s not good because he’s short crowd” but tonight definitely showed we gotta add to the center room , wether it’s a guy better (preferably) or a legit bruiser who can hold his own in matchups like these . If the thunder arent willing to pay Ihart we should make a legit run at him .. 48 minutes of great center play usually yields great results for the hawks. ( see the years before Clint’s decline)

  9. I would've totally given Caris Levert a contract last offseason if I was the Hawks GM. Thank god I'm not, he was a big reason we won tonight.

  10. I feel like the reason that everyone in the pro-QS camp was so silent during the win streak was that they knew something like this was coming. 12 pathetic minutes for Corey Kispert tonight. Zach, who many have noted is on a real hot streak lately, got 9. Terrible decision making leaving McCollum in for late game, must-get-a-stop defensive possessions. Terrible process managing the end of 4Q sequence.

  11. I expected us to win this game with Cade and Stewart out for the Pistons, we did narrowly avoid collapse, and if we don’t allow that 16-0 run at the beginning of the 3rd it’s likely a comfortable win.

    5th seed belongs to us!

  12. Sometimes I just want to see some more imagination out of Quin. We had a Landale, JJ, Kuminga, NAW, Dyson lineup on the court together in the middle of the 4th quarter. So it clearly is something that can be done, he has seen that hellfire won't rain down on Earth. Why can't he just go the last step of playing Kuminga, Zach, or even Mo instead of Mcollum on a single defensive possession? It makes me so mad every time. Heck, maybe even put Koloko in for better rim protection and rebounding since Landale clearly wanted no business with Duren. I just don't get why he regularly puts noted bad defenders in the game for these scenarios.

  13. If we are going to leave McCollum in for that final defensive possession, can we at least not call a timeout to allow them to bring Ausar back into the game? Against Utah, he didn't call timeout and it worked really well. It made even more sense to let them play it out in this scenario. And if you're going to call a timeout, can you please emphasize to Nickeil the screen needs to be set with 6 seconds to go, not 5, not 4. He's dicking around playing patty cake with Duncan Robinson or whoever and isn't there in time to set a real screen leaving McCollum to take a contested shot over one of the best defenders in the league. What did you talk about in the huddle? His late game offensive play calls have been terrible for his entire tenure in the A.

  14. If we don't win a round 1 series, I'm so done with Quin. We need someone who gets the end of game big decisions right and someone who plays our No. 1 sophomore who's on a hotstreak more minutes than Corey freaking Kisptert.

  15. Watching this game and the Rockets game made it pretty clear to me this team has a very defined ceiling with OO at center. It felt like every time down the court we needed to run some double-teaming gimmick defense to get a stop in each of those games, and neither Duren nor Sengun should feel like this much of a world beater. I was fine with the KP trade at the time because it seemed like this team was going nowhere regardless, but if he were still on the team we would be a real threat in the East.

  16. Jock Landale had one great game and has shot like 5% from 3 since then. I want to mix in some Mo Gueye at 5 pretty soon.

  17. Gabe Vincent, 3/6, 8 points, 2 steals in 11 minutes. Another great game from him. Am I crazy for thinking he's playing better than Luke Kennard was for us?

  18. McCollum had an amazing first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes of regulation and was uttlerly garbage at all points in between.

  19. McCollum was why the lead was blown, but then he made up for it at the end. The more kuminga gets integrated the better these type of games go otherwise we are just jacking threes too much

  20. The Hawks have won 15 out of 17 since Feb 19th. That’s crazy!! It was ugly as hell, but a win’s a win!!

  21. Agree that Risacher should’ve played more. He has been very solid off the bench lately, and has played well defensively

  22. It's all going to come down to BALL SECURITY….and Quin rotational minute decisions! BOTTOM LINE…A HUGE WIN! I just have that STRONG feeling that we have to somehow…someway…get a top 6 seed…..DON'T want any part of a PLAY-IN! Great analysis BRAD…esp about the TURNOVERS!

  23. Good to see Gabe step up! Kispert..for me..has been a HUGE disappointment..I really thought he would be better than this!
