  1. I think thats all true. Orlando was a better team that year. And Jordan did come back with a vengeance lol😂

  2. He forgot Denis Scott. That magic team was set up to win so fucking much if they had better owners and IF Penny stays healthy. Nick and Scott could shoot it. Penny a 6’7” pg monster and then the big fella in his prime.

  3. Everyone in here suckn off MJ while forgetting they didn't have Rodman or Horace.
There was a major gap in the lineup and it doesn't have to be MJ's fault.
Two people can be 'right' at the same time.

  4. Rodman had one foot out the league focused on entertainment when he joined the Bulls.
He was already good but playing with MJ refined his game & made him a hall of famer.

  5. They went and got a bunch of players from the BadBoy team that he so-called thought were bad for the game 😏

  6. If MJ was MJ, he wouldn’t have fallen asleep and allowed that steal. If Chicago wins that game, they probably win 4-2 or 4-1

  7. Horace Grant really should stop with this revisionist history and hypocrisy. 😂🤣
When MJ returned, he was not in perfect form. The Magic did defeat the Bulls during the playoffs, but they did not defeat MJ and the Bulls at their best, and the next playoff season is the proof. 🫡

  8. Mj played 17 games that year, coming back from 2yrs off… he was not at his best that’s how Nick Anderson was able to steal the ball in that clutch moment, he hadn’t competed on that level in 2 n a half years, so he got caught slipping, and that never happened ever again

  9. Dennis want a Hall of Famer until after den 3 with Chicago. So I call bullshii. I’d take Dennis over you Horace!!

  10. Penny was hurt in the playoffs in 96.That's a fact he was already injured. He couldn't.He was not self obviously

  11. Anyone watching at the time will tell.you Jordan wasn't quite Jordan when he had just came back.
    The magic wasn't there.
    The killer instinct.
He showed flashes, but he looked human.
    …Then the next year came.

  12. So what I’m hearing is mj who only played 17 games that return season was still enough to score 55 points.

So yes i agree, that next year when he was playing normal again i would be sweeped too.

  13. Anyone else also a little sock of the mj stories?
I mean, the man could play, but he in his 60ties and fishes these days.

  14. I call BS, Horace. MJ was definitely not 100 percent himself. Horace wants to take credit for beating Jordan who had zero preparation for that season. Was basically just thrown into the best league in the world. The fact he scored 55 against the Knicks shows how elite he was, but doesn't prove he was at his sharpest. And from what I remember, he looked a little flustered at times, like he wasn't quite in rhythm. The Next year he dominated.

  15. Fuck this Benedict Arnold getting carried around like he won a championship, then got swept in the finals. Bulls came back and swept your silly ass and Rodman outplayed you. Benedict Arnold trying to change the narrative. It was cool when you were getting carried off the court.

  16. Horace come on. He didn't need a HOFer to beat you. He needed one to beat Shaq, Penny, and the team you were on. Acting like you were the best player and the Magic were built around you. No.

  17. Have no idea why Krause thought letting Horace go was a good idea? I give him a ton of credit for the bulls but that was stupid, should’ve kept Horace i think they would’ve beaten Orlando they were too weak at the 4/5 on the glass

  18. Horace was one of my faves & was very underrated but he knows MJ wasn't in his rhythm and basketball is one of the most rhythm based games.

  19. for the record, Rodman wouldnt have become a hall of famer without the support of the bulls. they tapped into what all the other teams couldnt. Rodman was a unique talent and mind. miss watching that dude on the court.

  20. I understand that Horace doesn't like MJ. But that great team got swept in the finals. Evan a good team would take a game from Hakeem's Rockets.
