Horns Remain up forever 💪 they could play like Piarie View's old football team, go 0-32 and I'd still root for them. We almost pulled it off, great game overall with a very close result, horribly officiated game though. Hook Em no matter what🤘
I can't believe they forgot to add a point. They finally remembered eventually
Last tip the refs kept their whistles in the pockets…bad no call…but I should expect this since every game has is fixed. NBA, MLB, NFL, all fixed.
thank you for taking out Cinderella
Thank goodness Purdue, you kept me alive in my eliminator
Texas great run yall weren’t even expected to make it past the first round
Purdue basketball winning it after IU Football won it would be the most Indiana thing ever
If texas had kicked it in second gear halfway through the season, they might have made it to the final four. They have a good team all around, just caught fire too late.
Texas should’ve won but smith was just too good
ggs to purdue and congrats on making the elite 8! longhorns had a good run but sadly it must come to an end. hook em!
BOILERMARKS SURVIVE THE LONGHORNS 79 TO 77 THE FINAL TO ADVANCE TO SATURDAY NIGHT WINNER AGAINST ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS OR THE WILDCATS OF ARIZONA!
Basketball referees need to stop ignoring offensive fouls.
Lmao
It looked like number 4 shoved his man in the back to make that shot.
These refs need to be retrained on what a travel is
Outstanding!!! BOIL UP!!!
The and against cluff was terrible call but everyone wants to bitch sbout the tip in
TKR is the cheapest player in all of college basketball. It’s unbelievable
Texass and Houston teams lost it all tonight. Red state is going down! Midwest just sent you too next year.
Big ten Nation baby Iowa, Michigan, Purdue, Illinois Michigan state
Smith totally traveled on that break away at 5:12 😂
Sun, Mar 18, 1990. I was a sophomore at Purdue. Purdue and Texas fans remember that game. Purdue lost 73-72 to Texas on a last second goal tend. A few years ago a loaded Purdue team beat Texas in the tourney but imho Texas lost it because they couldn't make a shot.
Tonight Gene Keady was in the stands. I'm sure he remembers that 1990 game were he lost his lid post conference over that last play. Tonight Purdue was in trouble most of the game with a terrible shooting performance. Then there was the Camden Heide story line. Purdue fans still miss him. I'm not sure if he and TKR had their differences. It was a great game and why fans love this tourney. There is a lot more in these games than can appreciated if you haven't lived thru decades of these memories. Purdue, Texas, and Tennessee have had many classic going both ways. Thanks for reminding me why these games are so bittersweet thru the years.
Damn this was like a 2-3 point game ALL game
Brilliant 🎉fantastic effort from all players 🍻🤠
What an incredibly intense game.
Probably the best outcome so far in the tournament. And talk about physicality, this game was a beast. But very happy for Purdue.
phenomenal game by both teams. everyone making some really tough shots all game lone.
Texas lost that game on the boards
men of faith, we gather here 6:14
That travel by lawyer to tie the game 51 51 was the worst no call I've seen lol and I just noticed the three pointer pope made on the previous possession was counted as a 2
Hooked, landed and filleted…
Push off with elbow & Over the back on #4 refs swallow the whistle
Texas didn’t score from 5 min to 1 min left in second half?
it so looked like Texas traveled to hit the bucket, and got fouled to tie the game.
tysm Purdue I hate ut with a passion
Wow What a game!! Credit to Texas for making it this far for being an 11th seed.
Yea I hate I missed this game live but mane, I'm so proud of My Longhorns! Also, make no mistake, Sean Miller is the right man for this job!
Texas deserved to win
