It wasnāt quite this big of a swing, but wasnāt that game around Christmas between Nuggets and Wolves almost this big? I havenāt heard anybody mention it. If I remember right, Denver led most of the way, Ant led a furious comeback to tie and go to OTā¦ then I think Wolves scored first 8-9 points in OT and then never scored again as Denver scored maybe the final 15 to win. Am I misremembering this?
Yep, just looked it up. It was Jokicās 56-pt triple double game, when he scored 18 in OT. Wolves scored first nine in OT and then Jokic spanked them. Surprised commentators havenāt made the comparison to the Rocketsā collapse ācause the other game was just three months ago

I informed him that the nuggets were also beat by 23 by Hornets team since he seemed to forget and that the Hornets were coming which he laughed and mocked me. Problem with the Rockets they have 40 million in dead space with Adams and FVV out. No team is contending with that much dead space and DFs contract is the worst in the league. Rockets needed a Combo guard but the front office said no an itās a gap year. Kd has always had nasty turnover since nets days, if it wernt for Kd this rockets team would be the 9th seed. The rockets have the worse bench in the league aswell

Houston without their starting point guard is crippled. Injuries happen. But they donāt have two players that can make up for FV in the aggregate. Letās say Durant is out and FV is healthy. Same problem. AT is coming along but not there yet. Not certain they make it out of 1st round.
Hopefully KD will be back with FV next year.

I watched the highlights of that Timberwolves game, and Legs was so right, the electricity was streaming out of my computer like a giant laser beam, and the intensity of the crowd roaring in the background…it was incredible. Thank you for the recommendation. I only watch Nuggets games usually so I was taken aback a bit at the beginning by the slower pace of the game. It felt almost clunky, and then at the end it turned into something else altogether. It was wild.

Best player? It's Jokic. His conventional and advanced numbers are better virtually across the board than these other two. Here's something I ran across the other day. Incredibly, Jokic leads the NBA in cumulative points, rebounds, assists and steals between 2020 and 2026! He's the cumulative leader of the entire league for this decade in four critical categories. I can't imagine that's ever come close to happening before. This year he'll finish as the leader in both rebounds and assists per game, something no one has ever achieved. The issue with Jokic is he's taken for granted. LeBron said on his pod last month, 'No one even talks about what he's doing. It's like they think this is normal. No, let me tell you guys, this shit ain't normal!'
Yes the pistons were missing Cade, but also Isaiah Stewart, who is one of the best rim protectors in the league and their 2nd best defender behind Ausar. Marcus Sasser was out, who has been making 3s when they need him.

Ausar had 19 pts on 9-11 fg in that Hawks game and 5 steals. Benching him was a coaching issue. Ausar was doing great offensively in that game. His defense creates offense all the time too.
Why didnāt you mention how well he was playing offensively in that game? You kinda put him down to say Dyson is a good offensive player. We all know Ausar isnāt the best but he was great in that game and heās been getting better. That mistake was on JB Bickerstaff. JB has made this mistake before in games where Ausar was doing just fine offensively and they ended up losing those games by taking him out late and needing his defense. Instead of Ausar he goes for Duncan Robinson who canāt defend and is hunted over and over late in games. He also has trouble getting shots off late in games because he canāt get free. But Duncan is scored on so much his gravity doesnāt really make much of a difference. Not sure if JB has noticed this or not
