I like Windy, but the constant phlegm is nasty.
Wembanyama is such an arrogant humble guy. Dude is just full of himself but wants to portray he is humble.
They should just have a system where an exception can be given in such instances. Problem solved. And we still get the positives of the rule
All Bucks training staff had to say was Giannis back strain or soreness and he can sit and rest. We all want Giannis at 1000% for next season. Him having calve strains every month doesn’t work for super star
Bucks please fire and move on from Doc rivers. Team went to 💩 once you came on unfortunately
Tim Bontemps-
"Victor is not afraid to be wildly arrogant."
Hello, he's FRENCH.
This is the issue with espn and these guys voting. They’ve had shai winning it since November. The mvp is either Wemby or jalen brown. Both of those teams weren’t tipped to be as good as they are
Jokic is putting up arguably the best statistical season in NBA history, and MacMahon and the bookies have him out of the top 4.
Just goes to show how powerful media narratives are, compared to objective statistical facts. It's absolute nonsense.
25:43 this is not a best team award! It’s an MVP award! Why are we making a point about being 1st or 2nd seed??
does tim macmahon have strabismus?
The pacers and nuggets pushed them to 7 they are not a shoe in ridiculous and both times their were injuries..
The NBA needs to say you can only trade pick 2 years out. The NBA job to get the best product on the floor. Which mean stopping teams from trading away draft pick 7 years away. The Bucks are horrible with zero chance of getting better for 5+ years even if they want to get better. They traded everything away. All to make one guy happy. If the Buck win 35 game in a year over the next 5 years, I'd be shocked. There is no talent and no way to get it. Giannis is the reason they now suck. He should have rot with the Bucks forever.
All the episodes recently really under 50 mins to get that free Zoom session. LOL
Bontemps being uncomfortable by Vic’s confidence is always funny
SGA is the MVP this season, the next few season, Wemby is most likely be the favourite every season
mcmahon has elite sarcasm
Alcindor/Abdul Jabbar was the best player Milwaukee ever had.
Tim “glass half empty” bontempts
Par contre il a un mental plus fort que vous croyez et il y arrivera petit à petit
Yes the approved the rule it doesnt change the fact that the rule is bad for certain players like cade this year and wemby last year…We KNOW what an all NBA player looks like despite how many games they played.
@18:10 I can’t believe I’m agreeing with Bontemps😂The 65 game rule was created to stop load management and it’s working. If Cade missing all nba is the price for making the rest of the stars play more then so be it
Bontemps is spot on with the 65 game rule.
Cade will end up missing 22 games. Over 25% of the season.
I disagree with the 65-game rule. Here's why: There should not be a set number. I have faith that the people who vote for these things use common sense and will not send someone who've played only 30 games or whatever to a First/Second/Third-Team All-NBA. These aren't fans voting. These are established people in the league and journalists who know basketball. It's like the old saying: Knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing tomatoes do not belong in a fruit salad. Cade Cunningham definitely belongs in an All-NBA Team this season.
The adds are getting out of control
Now suddenly defense is so important after curry, jokic, westbrook and harden got mvps: when luka is avg 34ppg (1st) 8.5 apg (3rd) on 62%Ts and 8rpg (1st among point guards) and they have the 3rd seed, Luka is the CLEAR MVP wemby is not even top 15 in offense and sga not close the rebounder and playmkaer& passer luka is while avg less ppg haha😂and its not that luka isnt effective or impacting winning literallly top 4 in all generall advanced stats
Bontemps hit the nail on the head. Nothing has changed.
Which begs the question why did HC cover every second of the day all regular season?
Giannis's agent blew this, and could not have handled worse. Ask for a trade, if Bucks find one congrats, otherwise it's not a story until this off-season, which is how real reporters are charged to cover.
The solution to the 65-game threshold is very simple: add an option to qualify based on minutes played.
Currently, players need to play in 20 minutes for a game to count, and 65 games to qualify. That's a measly 1,300 minutes – only 33% of the possible minutes for their team in the season (48 x 82 = 3,936 minutes). Meanwhile, 65 of 82 games is 79.3%.
By comparison, the fewest minutes played by an All-NBA selection last season was 2,167 (55%) by Mobley (2nd team). The season before, it was 2,224 (56.5%) by Haliburton (3rd team). The league leader in minutes in those seasons was 3,036 (77%) and 2,989 (76%), respectively.
Understanding that the rule was put in place to prevent load management in terms of whole games … You have to throw it out the window because you're allowing guys who play only 20 minutes x 65 to qualify (33% of minutes). Figure out some other way to prevent full-game load management.
Cade Cunningham played 2,096 minutes this season – 53% of his team's non-OT minutes in all games, including those he missed – and currently ranks 35th in total minutes played… But won't qualify based on 61 games. Stupid.
Use minutes, set a reasonable total, and move on. Something like 1,640 minutes (82g x 20 min) OR 65 games (minimum 20 mpg).
Why did media ask him every day when he still had two years left on his deal? That's the point.
Fans and NBA "Obsevers" don't really care about the players getting their money, they get plenty We do want the best players recognized Make the NBA scoring title total points, not average
Joker is the best player in the league with not the best athleticism Giannis wins that every year with a good calf Tired of the posturing on Giannis' part
you guys are f’ing dumb
When did Giannis become such a prima donna?
Windy how come you never talk about my Hawks Jalen Johnson is looking like a future MVP Jokic himself verbatim said on a podcast that he’s recently been watching Atlanta Hawks games specifically to see Jalen Johnson play calling him an interesting player ‼️
