They wanted to start over they didn’t want to pay anyone they let Scott Williams go also. They traded Stacy king for luc Longley the season before. So there was no power forward on the bulls.
Horace Grant and Dennis Rodman on that Second Three Peat team would have been Phenomenal. Instead of 72 wins probably would have been around 74 wins. That’s if they would have still got Rodman if Grant was still there.
One of the most underrated players you'll ever see. Horace Grant belongs in the HoF. His value to the first 3 championship Bulls teams simply cannot be understated.
I thought that Orlando squad was special, if they stayed together and Shaq didn't go to Lakers they would of finally got a chip!@ shit Horace went and got acouple with Shaq in LA!! Smh. God bess
I'll NEVER forget seeing Horace and Pip at Great America (Six Flags) the summer before Phil Jackson became head coach. Pip had an all white Benz and they talked with us kids for a while as they walked to their car. We asked how they thought the season was going to go and they were pretty cool. 👌🏿
😂 with all the good things he said about the Magic team, he still ended with him saying he would've stayed in Chicago if he knew Jordan was coming back…
Grant was smart to take the money. The Bulls was never going to pay him what he was worth. Pippen stayed and was underpaid and is still upset about that to this day. Go where you are appreciated.

Horace was really underrated. Eastern Conference was stacked with PFs like McHale, Rodman, and Barkley so he did not get his due.
Chips lol mannnnn…
MJ, Pippen and Grant with the trapping defense. Problems during the playoffs.
Talking to Pippen about business decisions is wild after signing the deal he took.

It cost you 3 more rings.
Why'd you leave Los Angeles though?

"Trying To Get My Hands On Some Grants Like Horace"
$ talks because today, no one cares about Horace.

Nick Anderson missed 4 free throws in a row lol
Horace was blessed to be on great basketball teams to play with great basketball players and I don’t think he was ever an All-Star…
He also wanted to play Shaq and Penny.
Taxes in Florida helps
So if MJ didn’t retire, Grant prob stays. If Grant stayed, no way the Rockets would win against that Bulls team
Let's state the obvious Chicago was cheap as fuck. Dumb they could have had more chips because nobody still was not going to beat them.
Go to Orlando only for shaq to leave within 3 years and penny to get hurt in the same amount of time. DAMN!!!!
They could not get a rebound when he left
That man lives in a small beautiful town in Cali, so I guess it wasn't much of the taxes, but he actually meant what he shared.
You were appreciated Horace!
Ho Grant could ball . So thankful he helped my beloved Lakers win

Horace grant a.k.a. Tommy from Martin haha 🤣❤
Glad to finally hear it from his mouth. Also didn't realize he and Scottie were that close. Makes me realize more about MJ too.
Horace Grant Always reminded me of Tommy from Martin 😂😂
Horace and the 1995 Magic team sent the Bulls home packing. The next year the Bulls went and got Rodman.
Did this interview occur before or after The Last Dance?
LOL my man
No discount

In the moment it was absolutely a no brainer
Would have won more and possible hall of fame if he stayed

Horace is still loved in Chicago
Looking at his salary cap with orlando i see why he left bulls should had paid him more!
Horace made the right decision. These teams in the NBA aren't loyal, get that paper.
I played Unc Horace’s avatar of Nintendo 64. Easy buckets. 🫡
