No lie I'm so proud of Vassells journey. He looked so up and down last season while still recovering from his injury before last season. Now he's so dependable and that to me is the most invaluable asset to a team. Being able to depend on a team mate. He's been a massive relief valve when possession get figured out and we just need to get a shot up, he's always taking those tough mid range jumpers or that top of the arc 3 ball with a guy running him down. shots off of pin down screens. And the activity on defence, especially his close out on the 3 defence is so much better now, even though he has to do more work because Vic plays drop so much.
Devin Vassell doesn't get celebrated enough, such a key piece with his shooting and solid overall play. he's kept me from going crazy when the team goes cold and he hits a timely three.
Its hard to tell sometimes on the court, but he has big arms and shoulders. Takes fitness pretty seriously.
