he's not wrong tho at all, a lot of those calls were very ridiculous and it clearly benefitted the Thunder more
These refs got favorites and I don't think it's right
Why don't the players pay attention to the coach? I assume the players were warned about staying in front of their man and NOT REACHING WITH THEIR HANDS? Also the high number of turnovers occured in the Hornets game as well. You can't give up 19 points on 19 turnovers against good teams and expect to win.
OKC win NBA finals
knicks had 20 turnovers, that is NOT your fault coach, knicks needed more rebounds in the 4th quarter, again NOT, the fault of coach!
Please step down you over head with this job. Leon Ross mess up hiding you.
Stop the excuses. A loss is a loss
Why did no reporter, who may have actually played a game of basketball in their life, ask why did the team go away from KAT after KAT scores 7 straight points and stick him in the corner instead of spotlighting him at least 2 trips down? Instead we do a pointless p’n’roll with Brunson and hart which leads to some awful shots.
So does Brunson in drawing fouls
Brown could have challenged
When you play OKC just remember you are playing the Refs as well
I get it. The free throw disparity was noticeable, but that's not why the Knicks lost. The Knicks have a better team – a better ensemble than one would think. The problem is yet another flawed coach. Thibs was flawed. Brown is flawed. Folks got excited when the Knicks won 7 games in a row recently, against bad teams 😞. Brown made no adjustments and didn't try anything new during this stretch. When you are playing bad teams, you try something new to improve your team. Brown should have promoted Kolek to backup point guard, and demoted Alvarado. He was supposed to also work to reduce the role of Bridges, in favor of way more minutes for Diawara. He did nothing. Fans who don't know any better highly praised Brown during their win streak, not understanding that Coach Brown's pedigree as a winner is one built on Fool's Gold🪙. Brown needs to make the right adjustments, quickly. If the Knicks see a first round exit, which is truly a possibility, Brown has to go!!!!
The avg team does 24 FTA per game…..SGA had 18 in one game. Same as the entire Knicks roster. Its the officiating.
Why did you pull KAT in the 4th when he was hot
This is the 1st time I don’t agree with coach Brown. Why did he take out Robinson on the out of bounds challenge with KAT?
Leaving Kat without Robinson is like parting the Red Sea wide open.
I also didn’t like it when OG got replaced by McBride after his 4th foul instead of Dwaira or Sochan. Thus, the Knicks had Brunson, Alvarez, McBride, OG, and Bridges on the floor.
That move created more mismatches with OKC players and made it extremely difficult for the Knicks to guard or rebound defensively. This actually resulted in OKC proceeding to get 3 or 4 offensive rebounds and negative defensive mismatches in which OKC scored.
I’m most disappointed in you tf
Leon made a mistake with this guy
The whole league is rigged for OKC. Every team that play against them sees it. The lopsided officiating has been clearly blatant. I doubt Adam Silver does anything because he's probably in on it
Imo Mark Jackson or Mike Malone would’ve been a better HC for the Knicks Mike Brown is the wrong coach for the Knicks as I knew when he was hired
Great deflection Coach Brown.
Did anyone watch this game the knicks had 17 free throws and okc had 38 the Ref help them out stop it coach stop being a f..king chicken ass it was the Refs the Refs are dirty in the NBA
Coaches are watching what they say because they have no other option in a system which prioritizes image over credibility.
Freethrows aren't the in-depth answer here. Disruption of CONTINUITY and FLOW by those foul calls and non-calls is. This is overthrew favoritism and script adherence. NCAA is a much better product.
Kat is a "cream puff", soft as hell, Brunson dribbles too much, no shot blockers/ consistent rebounding
The officiating is ridiculous against OKC and them fouls come at crucial times and they are momentum changing calls. Kat was getting killed all game and no calls . But Knicks were definitely turning the ball over
Mike Brown is a good coach, the players need to step up and Knicks picking up Yabu, Clarkson, Alverado and Sochan were terrible pieces. Addition to not having Duece and Shamet
Kat is a Natural scorer, most if the time he's got a mismatch and yet Mike Brown rarely makes him the focus of Knicks offense. Is he the right coach for the Knicks
Its 10 games left ….you still haven't made kat comfortable as #2…Jordan clarkson was Mia for 15 games..bridges looks lost..diawara..lost confidence..Brunson still can't recognize the double team .their passing is horrendous. knicks are a good team naturally. But coaching has failed them and them not understanding their weaknesses..should've kept delon a bigger defense minded guard and took their shot
With Moses brown a 7 ' 2 way center.2 many players on this team not playing with no idea.
This “Official’s” excuse is tired….you failed our team in the 4th quarter!! YOU…not the team, not the “officials “ YOU!
Shut up Mike! Stop crying about loosing and start leading your team. Common man, stop complaining 😮
Free throws don't win the GAME!
We went toe to toe with them the entire game and they managed to pull away at the end. This is despite us missing two key bench players and them shooting literally twice as many free throws. Although they didn’t win, I was somewhat impressed with their performance. I only wish KAT got involved more but that’s about the only negative I can see from our side. Fair officiating and we probably win this game.
The new york knicks is not going to win a championship with this coach. Knicks should had hire MARK JACKSON. If you building up a team from scratch mike brown is a good coach if you trying to win a championship mike is not that coach. GO HIRE MARK JACKSON ASAP.
I’ve grown respect for this guy, but why are we pivoting backwards ‘cause the calls didn’t go out way?
“I’ll show guys that if I’ll ride for them if they really wanna play that game but…”
What?
Don’t do that bro… that’s like saying “I didn’t want to argue those calls, I just did it cause the guys feel the need that I have to”.
If you wanna do it, let it come out of you.
If you don’t, then don’t.
But don’t, talk about that stuff like that to the media as if that was their fault 🤨.
Or their bad decision.
I don’t know what was that 🤨..
Double or 1/2 the fouls and we've got a game? When K-Dogs lift their gamesmanship, accuracy, & response … the chip is within reach. 🌹
