  1. When OKC got the 1 seed ahead of Denver in 23-24 you didnt hear many saying SGA was going to get it over Jokic and Jokic won it. Now all of a sudden if OKC doesnt get 1 seed Shais not MVP? Shai has played 400 more mins, 12 games extra this year than Wemby and has the most clutch points, the team has a 11.0 net rating, 9th all time WITH the second most player games lost. SGA has carried the Thunder through an injury riddled season and still has the 9th highest net rating all time, tied with Jordans 91-92 Bulls team for context. The betting apps must be funneling money to these announcers and networks to move the odds and get suckers to bet for Wemby Luka Brown

  2. Monica and Jay are undermining Wemby and all the work he has put in to be able to do everything he does despite being tall, just because he’s the tallest dude one the court. I agree with the white guy, we’ve never seen somebody at Wembys height be as skilled as he is, most big guys lose coordination which ultimately messes with their handles and shot. Wemby does both exceptionally well in spite of being as tall as the sky

  3. I think it’s hard to judge because both of Shai and Wemby’s teams have done well when they are not playing.

  4. ESPN is gross at this point. Basically d riding Wemby harder that prime Lebron. Let bro do something of substance first before anointing him at the heir apparent. SGA, Luka, & Jokic are the top 3 in MVP candidates in whatever order you want. The Wemby hype is corny af.

  5. I think wemby and sga are both valid candidates but i dont like the argument that wemby and the spurs unexpected success is better than sga and the thunders expected excellence. If you expect me to get 100% on a test and someone else to fail but then we both get 100% that shouldnt diminish me.

  6. Kay is inconsistent and will be the reason why the Knicks won’t come out of the eastern conference playoffs.!! Cavaliers could be the sleeper this season once they get Allen back. In the words of Bernie Mack in the movie 🍿 The players club “ they could be trouble,Trouble,Trouble

  7. I've been saying the exact same thing Jay Will said about Wemby's dominance is based off his size like Yao, it should be expected. But delusional wemby fans want to believe otherwise. Of course the Wemby media hype is overblown. Hahn favors wemby cause he's a SGA hater

  8. Come on ..as much i want wemby to get it, this is the nba they love stories and drama..they goona give it to Shai if they keep top seed…so wemby will have a reason to destroy chet and Shai for stealing his mvp's from him

  9. Wembanyama is a phenomenal athlete and a transcendent talent and there is a legitimate argument to say that he could genuinely be the best player who ever played the game. He’s not that at the moment though. His actual gameplay is reasonably so so. His offence is disjointed and is purely instinctual lacking strategic direction and his defence outside of being a athletic big is questionable at times. His main challenge is the fact that his natural talent and ability is so unbelievable that he’s never really had to work on the fundamentals to the same degree as a lot of other players have to. It’s the burden of talent issue. And he would be far from the first incredible athlete to enter the NBA and find himself not quite up to the mark when it comes to his fundamentals. However he has all the makings of a generational star particularly when it comes to the fact that he is clearly competitive and aggressive and wants to win. There isn’t a hint of apathy in him and ultimately if he can turn that inward and use it to build himself to be more than just a transcendent athlete into a genuine all-time great then he’s deserving of 5MVP’s in his career. But he’s not there yet. SGA is the best player in the world and it’s overtaken Joker and is deserving of the MVP for this season but wow I really really look forward to the next few seasons when we’re all treated to a more mature, refined and strategic Wembanyama. This could possibly be one of those runs that we look back in in 20 years time and say to each other do you remember when Wembanyama went and won 5 MVPS in a row?
