I was really hoping that Ace could get WC ROTM, but he’d slowed down a little bit after that very hot stretch where he was making 5-7 3s/game, and made 23 3s in 4 games; an accomplishment legendary shooters like Curry couldn’t boast their rookie year.
He also had amazing efficiency from all three levels, and was leading all rookies in PPG in the month of March. Cooper had recently edged him out by 1 PPG, but they might be closer now- with Coop’s 12-point performance last night.
He also had 25 points, 5 blocks- making Ace the youngest player aside from KD to have 25 points + 5 blocks in a single game.
He was also the 5th-youngest player (Cooper Flagg, AD, LeBron, Carmelo) to have 3 consecutive games of 25+ points.
I’m praying that he can still make All-Rookie First Team at SF- as PG (VJ, Harper), SG (Kon), SF (Ace leading right now- Coward/CMB slightly behind), PF (Coop), and C (Raynaud) are the frontrunners right now.
Now that Ace has the minutes he needs, what a Special player The Jazz have. Put him with the rest of the guys and we will be a Top Tier Team in the very near future!!
