New head coach Julius Thomas debuted in style, as Paris Basketball shot the lights out from deep to crush Virtus Bologna 82-103 in a rescheduled Round 33 clash on Tuesday night at PalaDozza. A first quarter of runs was followed by a high-scoring second in which Paris managed to gradually build a comfortable lead, taking a 47-53 advantage at halftime. The two teams traded blows to open the second half, but Paris went on a 2-15 surge in the closing stages of the third quarter and opened the fourth with a 3-17 run to finish the game off.

Having grabbed its first win in three games, Paris improved its record to 13-21 – precisely where Virtus dropped after suffering a fifth straight loss.

Nadir Hifi led all scorers with 20 points, while Justin Robinson, Sebastian Herrera and Yakuba Ouattara netted 14 each. Matthew Morgan and Mouhamet Diouf bagged 16 points apiece in a losing effort.
