    Let me start by saying that in this game it became 100% clear: head coach Jason Kidd and the entire coaching staff are just.. terrible. They are deliberately not letting Cooper play at full strength – sometimes even banning him from doing so. If we look at this particular game, it’s obvious: Cooper was extremely passive for the first three quarters, and only in the 4th quarter did he start playing normally. It’s like they are doing this on purpose to lose as many games as possible. Anyone who watched the full game, or the last few games, will understand.

    But even so, Cooper still put up decent stats. Don’t be confused that he didn’t hit 20 points again or anything like that. Just look at Kon Kneppel’s stats in recent games:

    8 points, 7 rebounds, 0 assists

    13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists

    11 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists

    And nobody says a word about it. But the moment Cooper scores just under 20 points, it’s suddenly the end of the world-they start criticizing him at every opportunity.

    Kon Knueppel has been EXPOSED by the media for struggling vs top 10 defenses this season.

    • Kon Knueppel – 40% FG
    • Cooper Flagg – 45% FG
    • VJ Edgecombe – 41% FG

    The voters should not think twice when voting for the ROTY.

    So, over the last 30 years, only 4 rookies have managed:

    20+ points per game
    50%+ of their field goals unassisted

    Basically, able to score efficiently on their own without assists.

    He has starting to play like Dirk more and more each game. The fadeaway he hit at 1:14 was a version of Dirks fade. Only difference was he jumped off 2 feet instead of 1. I love that spin fade. This kid is going to be something special. The craziest part about it, is he should be in college right now but it doesn't matter, hes still balling. He should have ROTY locked up already but people think Kon is better some how even though Coop beats him in every stat except for shooting from deep.
