From my prior military experience, I understand basketball isn’t the military and this isn’t a war, but the concept is similar when you’re dealing with a dominant opponent. When you’re facing a larger or stronger element, you don’t beat it by throwing your best at it the same way every time. You use different looks, different angles, different pressure, and different pieces to keep them from ever getting comfortable.
That’s how I see a matchup like the Celtics vs the Spurs. You don’t stop a player like Wembanyama with one guy. You throw waves at him. Different defenders, different help, different rotations, forcing him to think every possession instead of just reacting.
Boston is one of the few teams built to do that because they have multiple players who can defend, rotate, and adjust. The key isn’t matching a juggernaut, it’s overwhelming him and never letting him settle in.
If you factor in no one thought BOSTON was gonna be anything, and Boston Lost so many players. G leaguers, and DW, PP, and hes been fantastic. He is the real MVP but i believe he will get robbed

Boston matches up incredibly well with OKC, to write them off shows me I shouldn't listen to any of your takes cause your not looking at the actual matchups. And your mvp take is just as bad, what Jaylen has done with the team he had has been way more impressive than what SGA & Wemby have done. Everyone wrote the C's off when Tatum went down & the roster was gutted & JB stepped up more than anything we've seen in the league over the last few seasons.
