  1. Those saying he doesn't deserve mvp because of his size: It’s Most Valuable Player award, not MVSP Most Valuable Small Player !

I could say the same for SGA. Free throws are part of the game, deal with it !

  2. The craziest thing, and he said it all, is that he scored 41 points in 29 minutes with only 2 free throws… insane.

  3. Wembanyama is going to end the small ball era singlehanded. The Warriors are too small.

  4. This dude is MVP bro. Stop with the SGA mega glazing. Spurs are 18 games ahead of where they were supposed to be this year because of this guy.

  5. How this man back cutting guys at that size is insane. You don’t see the big shadow disappear?

  6. How do fans find this entertaining. Dude taller than everyone & athletic. MJ was doing this as a 6'6" guard at a higher level with grace. MJ was exciting because he had to dominate against giants. Wemby is not graceful at all. He looks like Ralph Sampson but dominating with more skills. There's no one to challenge him because of his height & athleticism🥱

  7. People keep saying Victor Wembanyama doesn’t deserve the MVP.

Let’s be clear: it’s an objective fact that Wemby’s defensive impact is in a league of its own—he’s not just the best defender in the NBA right now; he’s operating on a different plane entirely. And even though Wembanyama himself has repeatedly stressed that defense makes up half the game, critics still insist: “If you’re that good defensively, go win DPOY. Since the Defensive Player of the Year award exists, MVP should lean toward offense.”

Fine. But if we’re playing by that logic, then let’s follow it all the way through.

If DPOY exists to honor elite defense, and there are already All-Defensive First and Second Teams… then shouldn’t the All-NBA Teams—especially First and Second Team—also skew heavily toward offensive production? After all, scoring is the most visible, quantifiable offensive metric. By that standard, Wembanyama, who ranks 13th in scoring at 24.5 PPG, “shouldn’t” be in serious contention for All-NBA First or Second Team. At best, maybe Third Team.

But here’s the reality: as we approach the end of the season, there’s zero real debate about whether Wemby belongs on an All-NBA First Team. Nobody’s seriously arguing against it. The consensus is practically unanimous.

So isn’t that textbook hypocrisy? And not just hypocrisy—but the kind of arrogant, self-unaware double standard that pretends to value “balance” while only rewarding one half of the game?

    Let’s get one thing straight:
MVP stands for Most Valuable Player.
Value. Value. Hell, it’s right there in the damn name!

  8. Wish we could see him play against the old school centers… Wilt, Russell, Kareem, Moses, Chief, Dream, Admiral… this era is so Center-deficient.

  9. As a french guy, I'm so happy that Wemby is french, and so proud that such a brillant young man is representing our country, and be that good. I started watch basketball because of this guy.

  10. Wemby Is Him, Point, Blank, Period, He's MVP & DPOY This 25-2026 Season ❤️💯👍🏾👌🏾💪🏾🔥🏀🙏🏿 God Please Keep Wemby & My Whole San Antonio Spurs Team Healthy, I Want & Need Our 6th NBA Championship🏆
