Hapoel earned a crucial victory in its fight for the top four by battling back to beat Panathinaikos 92-88 in a thrilling showdown with massive playoff implications. Hapoel rallied from 11 points down in the fourth quarter and Chris Jones made four free throws in the final 26 seconds to win a game that featured 18 lead changes and 12 ties.

Antonio Blakeney poured in 19 points and Elijah Bryant had 18 points for Hapoel, which improved to 21-13 in snapping a two-game losing skid. The Greens saw their four-game winning streak come to an end for a 20-15 record despite Juancho Hernangomez scoring 17 points.

    26-13 4th quarter score is unacceptable. I support Panathinaikos because of Ataman and Cedi, however, it is sad to see the team is struggling in almost every game despite this roster.

    I think that the difference between win or defeat for Hapoel Tel Aviv is which players Itudis choose for the money time. When he choose players with bad defense- he lose. Jones and Odiasi were the key players.
