LeBron is Tripping do he know what that team leaving would do to the city ?
What is it doing for the city now?
From Draymond Green to Kenyon Martin….they both said the same thing. Get the Grizzlies out of Memphis.
Born and raised in Memphis. Honestly we are not a major city . But with that being said we are not the only city in the nba thats a mid major city. I can’t imagine the hotels are that bad and that being the reason a team needs to move. I think it’s an agenda to move the team but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I’m also a 17 year season ticket holder of the grizzlies and the city loves and supports the team. I just don’t get black players dumping on a black city. To move to a white city in Nashville. NBA players are spoiled brats l. They don’t think about the jobs and economic impact these teams give to a city like Memphis. They are complaining about one night spent in Memphis
Sir Flop A Lot has ZERO self awareness. And, THAT has been the face of the league 😏PLEASE!
Memphis must be horrible
Well, he lost Tonight. Payback.
These dudes are clowns. Soft azz KD started that talk a few years ago and now the rest of these clowns are trying to jump on board. Just a few years ago, Draymond wanted the Grizz to snatch him from free agency and now he's talking the same shitniz.
Per capita, you're probably not gonna find a larger African American city in the league than Memphis. That being the point, maybe it's not white enough for all these newly instant rich black dudes that maybe have forgotten where they come from. Memphis is a city that preserves its history by not tearing down its old buildings and replacing them with the new shiny ones. But that's what make it unique.
When Memphis builds new structures in its downtown, instead of adding shiny glass to the whole building, they add the brick facade to blend in with the other historical buildings. And from the opinion of some these players, they prefer the glitz and glamor to come with their bedding. But to get a true reaction of what it's like to live and play in the city, ask all the current and former players their honest opinion. I guarantee 95% of them will tell you that they enjoyed their time here. You can't beat the fandom.
They dont get upset wirh Charles Barkley when he trash talk San Antonio and it people calling them fat
Anthony Edward’s said the same thing and when I went to Memphis I stayed in the W right across the street from stadium TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!
They make a big deal out of anything Bron says. Damn guy can’t express shit. Without people losing Thierry minds. Everyone has standards.
He just mad at that pooh shiesty line about bronny 😅😂😂
That sucka is from Akron, and if Akron had a NBA team ain't no way he'll want this own to lose its only pro franchise🖕🏽💪🏽💯
Just because Anthony Edwards and KD had negative things to say STILL doesn’t make it right the so-called high IQ manufactured one to add his everyone is beneath me comments. 👎
Why he didn’t call out draymond antman Keyon Martin etc when they all said the same thing.. I get it bron name bring the views but damn .. 🥷’s don’t get tired of speaking on dude 😂😂
They been tryna get the grizzlies out of Memphis since Ja situation and when D. Brooks got into it with Bron and separated him from the team from there on they been tryna destroy the teams value bad trades left and right now there tryna slander Memphis with these narratives and it ain’t just the hotels they tryna rag on. Smh
Aw Bron still mad about Ja and D Brooks from a few years ago
My thing is, why these guys don’t stay at the Peabody Place? It’s the best hotel in the city or the Big Cypress in Bass Pro and they both downtown.
This is a brand new hotel only two years old they host rooftop parties it's a decent hotel
Who tf want to go to Memphis besides ppl from Memphis?
These guys don't know enough about microeconomics, not too bright. I wish someone wouldve told Lebron it's the Democratic policies that create these urban conditions.A hotel’s value is ultimately tied to the prosperity of its neighborhood. Memphis will continue to struggle until the city adopts economic policies that lower crime and incentivize business investment to raise local incomes.
The d*mmy keeps blindly advocate for the Democratic party without ever encouraging people to analyze their own conditions. Instead of pushing for party loyalty, he should be urging voters to understand what’s required to improve their environment, weighing those needs directly against specific policies.
In Milwaukee its the Pfister you say it like the "FIST-ER" the P is silent 😂
As someone actually from Memphis, I can’t even be mad at what LeBron James said… it hurts, but it’s not a lie.
I moved away myself, and it wasn’t about one hotel or anything small like that — it’s the overall condition of the city. There are real issues with poverty, opportunity, and how things have been managed over time. A lot of people who are from there understand exactly what he meant, even if they don’t want to say it publicly.
At the same time, Memphis is home. So hearing it talked about like that doesn’t sit right either.
But at the same time… let’s not act like he’s coming from paradise either. Cleveland (and Akron where he’s from) has a lot of the same struggles — if anything, just colder. So I get the honesty, but the tone felt a little unnecessary.
As far as the Memphis Grizzlies, it’s tough because the team needs a certain level of energy and support to survive long-term. Ja Morant brought that excitement back, but if that disappears and there’s nothing to replace it, I honestly worry about the future of the franchise.
I don’t want to see the team move — especially not to Nashville — but from a business standpoint, I understand why conversations like that even come up.
It just sucks all around.
These players have the right to be honest…the hotel needs to step they game up.. knowing evidently you're the best hotel near the stadium ..do some renovations or something
