The Bulls Held Their Own When Michael Jordan Left
When MJ left, the Bulls were one phantom foul on Hubert Davis away from making another run.
Guys like Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, and BJ Armstrong proved they could hold their own during Michael Jordan’s baseball hiatus.

Jordanaires, not Jordaneers.
I Agree 💯 And that's the way it is
No one called them the Jordaneers n go look at the 1994 mvp race pip wasn’t even close
Even if MJ never came back after his 1st retirement he would still be widely considered the GOAT
That turn and look at the camera.
Well…. if I would have tits I would be a women
Damn so they best year they had as teams didn’t even involve Jordan sounds bro was a problem
This is a perfect example why you needed mike…calling a year without a chip, let alone without even going to the Finals, a great year?
NOW TELL ME THE TEAMMMATE THAT GOT ANY MVP VOTES WITH BRON AFTER HE LEFT !!!!
I'm a Knicks fan through and through but that was a phantom foul….why? The NBA didn't want Chicago to advance without Jordan. They didn't want fans to think "Chicago can do it without MJ" Take off your fanism over a team and realize this..of course Indiana was the ECF so Chicago may not beat them but I do think the Bulls could of beat my Knicks in 94 with this call not being called.
Same time the Bulls and Jordan owe Orlando a thank you in 1995 because Orlando beating Chicago helped Jordan's legacy because I do feel if the Bulls beat Orlando in 1995 no way do they beat Hakeem with no Grant and no Rodman yet. Jordan would have an L on his finals…of course again if Chicago beat Orlando they'd have to face Indiana in the ECF in 95 as well first.
The Jordan aires was a real thing
Y’all would lost in 5 if y’all didn’t put JoJo English in just to start a fight with Derek Harper. Knicks would win game 3.
Ref was hugh Hollins. Was notoriously awful and was continously atrocious. Should have been bained years ago and im not even a bulls fan
MJ thinking “Ain’t nobody coming to see you Otis”😂😂😂
ill forever die on the hill that Pip did not foul Hubert Davis n Hue Hollins fucked the Bulls from a Finals appearance w/o MJ. Still would've lost to the Rockets but after Pip put his nuts on Ewing, they should've called series right there 😂
Stop the cap Mike didn't announce his retirement until October 93 right before the preseason started for the 93/94 season so what meetings he talking about
With out mj the nba Finals would had sucked that year they need new york in the finals to help save the year hate it or love it new york makes the nba playoff pop thats a fact and they went 7 games with the rockets and would of won the game had John starks not go 1 for 19 from 3 point range
Yeah but the next year they won 34 games
They built a team around Jordan
Pete Myers fitted in perfectly with that squad!
But people say it was all Micheal Jordan. Please, Micheal played in a team that won 55 day games without him. That’s crazy.
That phantom Hubert Davis foul is had more contact than 95% of SGA foul calls
David Stern would never allow Bulls to reach the Finals or even win a championship without Jordan. The outcome was predetermined.
We all know the powers that be wasn’t going to let them go to the finals without Jordan. No way. Jordan is a God with his image and likeness that people worship
That foul was pure bs whole damn city of Chicago was mad after that call
And he left Chicago to join Shaq and Penny. I thought that was very low and lost all the respect for Grant.
Moral of the story: you can't win championship without MJ
Horace is full of crap.
That foul called on Pippin was the turning point of the series even though they took the Knicks to 7 is still had an effect on that outcome . I truly despised Hue Hollins he was known for a lot of bogus calls I always felt he should have been investigated just like Tim Donaghy
