Dubai got back to winning ways by beating an undermanned Monaco 101-91 on Thursday night at Zetra Arena. In a first half of runs, Dzanan Musa netted 13 first-quarter points for a 24-18 lead after 10 minutes, but Monaco bounced back in the second quarter and held Dubai to just one field goal in the last three minutes to tie things up at 47-47 at halftime. A tight affair in the third quarter was followed by a fourth in which McKinley Wright stepped up to finish the game off for the hosts.

Musa paired his 24 points with 10 assists and Wright netted 23, with Mfiondu Kabengele bagging 18 points and 9 rebounds. Kevarrius Hayes and Alpha Diallo paced Monaco with 17 points each, while Jaron Blossomgame and Nikola Mirotic scored 15 apiece. Dubai improved its record to 18-17, remaining in the hunt for a playoff spot. Meanwhile, Monaco suffered a second straight loss, dropping to 19-16 but holding the head-to-head advantage against Dubai.
