BI has added a lot to this team. Primary scorer and go to guy in crunch time. Putting RJ back into his natural state as a #2 guy, freeing up Scottie to be the Swiss army knife and 3rd top scorer, taking pressure off IQ and Jak to score as much… BI was the missing piece and the Raptors have been a hugely better team with him. Sure, still some pieces and internal development to go; need more PG, more C, and esp more 3. Look, a year a go talking about the Raptors finishing in 5th would be a huge jump. Now, they are there and BI is a huge part of that.
It sounds like they want BI to be a role player. Shoot more 3s don’t hold the ball long and less iso.
I never comment on youtube but just wanted to say Joe has rapidly become one of my favourite folks (no pun intended) to see in raptors content. Really enjoy hearing his perspective.
