Scoring IS overrated, but Wemby can also score when he wants to.

As a long-time Nick Wright listener, he has said over and over that the NBA MVP provides a snapshot summary of the season for years to come. In ten years, when we think of the 25-26 season, what will we think of?
The Wemby has arrived moment and spurs turn-around as a team is that season snapshot. Wemby is MVP. OKC has been inconsistent and Lakers are not a real contender.
Due to Wembys height they need to balance his minutes. They cant afford to lose his him over 3 minutes

I think the minutes thing actually helps his case because his team is still on pace to win 60+ games with his limited minutes if doesn't show his value what does? And SGA was literally sitting out every 4th quarter for the 1st quarter of the season.

You can not compare current scoring with scoring from the 1990’s and 2000’s.
The average scoring per game has gone up 15 points since then, and for high scoring teams the increase is even higher.
SGA has been really good. But Wemby is just better.
I think Brou and Wildes are trying to have it both ways and Nick is right. You cannot say picture what he would do if he played more, which is a point in his favor for MVP, but then say he does enough and doesn't need to play more while adding that as a point in his favor as well.
Shai didn't play his second best player in jalen Williams almost the whole season. And he plays 33 to 32 minutes and haven't played the 4th q in almost 9 games
