This is coming from a born and raised Bostonian and die hard Celtic fan. Scheierman is the prototypical Celtic player. Hard work, basketball knowledge, unselfishness and availability. It's not surprising that he's a Celtic. We don't acquire good team players, we build them. Most scouts are lazy and have no blueprint by which to build teams. The Celtic way was established decades ago and has only deviated from that blueprint maybe 2 or 3 times since it was established by Red Auerbach and Bill 'The G.O.A.T' Russel. That's why they were the first NBA team to integrate. All that matters is that you're smart, willing to work hard, play hard and play team basketball. All the individual accolades, human highlights and trendy maneuvers mean absolutely nothing if you can't accomplish the only goal that really matters, winning championships.
Scheierman, hugo and walsh are no secret to celtic fans. Only the rest of you.

Its not localized. Sheierman has been showing up all season and its hard to find a bad game from him. He does exactly what Derrick White does in utilizing his relentless hustle to make consistent incremental plays for his team while being a threat from the arc. On defense he routinely covers key man coverage targets which forces suboptimal ball movement and enables guys like Pritchard and White to gets more picks.
He has a real basketball IQ. Remind you of a little bit of bird.

I don't think people expected the win-loss results we got from the Celtics without Tatum. Yes, Brown and others stepped up their scoring, but someone had to play the actual "power wing" role. It's the next man up mentality the Celtics talk about often.
