  1. saw an espn notification that he had 38 halfway through the 3rd. grabbed my cooper jersey and turned on the tv. and witnessed history. go mavs

  2. Imagine scoring 51 points and losing by double digits. Sure Flagg did well, but it did not translate to a win and if Dallas cant win when a guy scores 51 … geez. I guess this helps with morale. It will give Dallas hopium for the summer.

  3. Dallas has to WIN to help Cooper. What is helping Kon is Charlotte going to the playoffs for the first time in I think 15 years.

  4. The Mavs got a massively updated LeBron (potential to be a really nice 3pt shooter, excellent middie game AND actually plays defense) so now they just gotta find him his Wade/Kyrie. And still holding on at 6 in the lottery in THIS draft is crucial. Got a lot of nice players that would look really nice with Coop.

  5. Flagg is going to be better than sga next year at this rate he is better at rebounds and defense and at his improvement rate could average 30 next year..

  6. Biggest difference tonight was that he went back to being aggressive especially shooting the ball! I always thought he should just shoot it more in games! That’s where you really find your groove. Shooting in the open gym can be done by any NBA player!with these games that don’t mean nothing, put it up! Also, his teammates started to look for him more!

  7. Bruce Lee once said, “Like everyone else, you want to learn the way to win. But never to accept the way to lose. To accept defeat, to learn to die, is to be liberated from it. So when tomorrow comes, you must free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying.”

  8. I think I really get it now. Luka is so beloved that there’s no amount of evidence that will ever be enough to justify the trade to fans. Luka could have a career-ending injury and people would say it wouldn’t have happened in Dallas. Dallas could win an NBA championship, and fans would still claim they’d win multiple with Luka. So I have to ask—is there anything that could happen over a season that would make you admit Nico Harrison could have been right?

Hit a lucky shot? Props. Win the lottery? Congrats. Nico hits the 1.8% with Flagg and suddenly it’s all about the odds.

  9. Cooper Flagg is a generational athlete, but the US lobby is setting him up to fail with these expectations. His 51 points against the Magic are the definition of empty stats. Scoring 24 in the fourth quarter while being down by 30 is pure garbage time production against a defense that stopped caring. Unlike Luka at 19, Cooper doesn't have the basketball IQ yet to actually dictate a game's rhythm or stop a 138 point blowout. Dallas is repeating the same disaster they had with Dončić, only this time the rookie has to fight against the shadow of a legend they sold for nothing. If the team doesn't change, Cooper will simply break under the weight of these hollow milestones.

  10. Kyrie need to be back to play with Cooper. You cannot rest 1 year without play a single game. See how this team can be next year

  11. The number one option who played 35 minutes in a loosing game with 30 Shots. Mavs 30 points behind and the number one option is still on the court. It is just to give him the numbers in a loosing game thats all. Wake up. Kon shot 20 points (7-12) in a 21 points win. They dont need to feed Kon… They play winning Basketball with Kon. I mean 51 points is great but to let your number one option on the field when you are 30 points behind its feeding. The moment they are 30 points behind he got 30 points… So he make 21 points after his team is hard loosing and the magics are with the mind in the bus back to the airport. So chill if he do that in a winning game we can talk.

  12. 51 pts to loose by double digit. Empty Stat. I m not sure he win roty. No-one watch Dallas played. Kon is on the spot light because hornets are fun to watch. And they re on pace to be in the playoffs. We have good player in the roster and despite, no fun to watch Dallas game. Loosing is a bad habit

  13. Coop could've had 51 earlier in the year, if it wasn't for Kaleb Martin taking that dumb a** layup from the free throw line, instead of passing it to Coop.

  14. I honestly don't have as much faith in flagg as other fans
He's good performances almost NEVER lead to wins and I understand the team Ismt good at the moment but he doesn't lead to wins he gets his stats up.

I became Mavs because of Luka's rookie season and I saw him take the team from denis Smith Jr and for most of the season once he got in the starting as leading us to wins

Nick said people are comparing him to Tatum and that's the problem I never seen Tatum as someone that can carry a team. He thrives in that stacked celtics team but I never see him as a problem sover but that doesn't mean he's not a great player
