  1. Maybe we make it out of the play-in, maybe we don't. But at best a first round exit awaits. Bigger question is the direction moving forward. We are hamstrung not just by the financial remnants of the Beal buyout but by also paying a Robin like he's a Batman. As long as Book is our No 1. this franchise is likely going nowhere. He just doesn't have the physical or mental game to take over in the clutch and that's been on brutal display for the entire world to see in these recent 4th qtr meltdowns.

So yes we can cling on desperately to the Booker lead Suns another year or two. But to me it seems that we would be merely putting off the inevitable painful rebuild either way. Unfortunately there is no escaping paying for the contractual sins of our past.

  2. This felt like James Jones talking to himself in the mirror about his roster building rationale.

Look Landry Shamet just costs a first it is what it is.

I wouldn’t have drafted Devin Booker, he is just too young, who is he going to player over Bledsoe?

Ayton was just the better pick, I watched him and look it’s not like we had his coach or anything.

Lon Babby would have drafted Giannas brother.
