KD is a talented scorer no doubt. But the fact he is so so toxic is frustrating to watch. Although I lost all respect for him after he bailed to GS. After those burner accounts, I lost all respect for him as a person…
goats don't leave, they lead their teams to rings.
TURKISH FANS ARE NOT EUROPEAN, FANS. WHAT AN INSANE COMMENT!!!
KD obviously is a one of greatest players but not a nice good team player with his character. Jabari is a beautiful player, Jalen and Dillon were too. I'd never swap that two with KD, regarding his non-settling character. Dillon was a warrior and Jalen was a special athlete. Houstan made a mistake.
I've only paid for one expensive basketball sport card, Alperen Sengun.
Rockets would have been beteer with Dillon Brooks. Big mistake to trade a close to 40 year old KD who is a bus rider for a 29 year old, 21 pt player who is Defensive first team with many more good years to go.
Rockets arent in a mess they just won 5 in a row. They just dealing with injuries lost FVV for the entire season, Adams for half the season and their MLE DFS has been a total scrub. Add Ime Idoka offensive incompetence causing them to lose to scrub teams no wonder the team became toxic for a time. But it isnt that deep if they win games everything is great just like with any other team. The only reason this is overblown is because its KD.
Lakers just lost Luka ooops look whose season is over I guess Luka and Lebron have beef now.
For the past 2-3 months, KD has been deliberately missing shots after receiving passes from Alperen to prevent Alperen from gaining stats. I am Turkish and of course I defend Alperen, but this is professional basketball and I don't enjoy watching a game filled with personal nonsense. Both of them need to shake themselves up and play the game they earn money from like men. After they leave the court, they can do whatever they want.
Don't think there's actual friction on the locker room, just frustration on losing some winnable games. The prob isn't about players getting along, more about the injuries they suffered all year. The rotations is decimated – the supposed vet help are out or didn't returned to form yet – FVV, Adams and DFS who supposedly Brooks replacement hasnt been himself and totally a non factor. Some trust issues from the coach with their healthy and abled players, like Capela still playing spot mins even with Adams out. Reed hasn't had consistent mins early in the season. With everybody knowing they lack guard play, Holiday / Davison hasn't been inserted in the rotations the 1st 60games. Only decided to put Holiday lately. Some shooting slumps for their regular players – Bari & Tari. Odd player combinations and offensive sets to close out games.
Coaches just need to solidify their rotations & player combinations to end the season and better offensive schemes that's not too predictable. Like all those ball screens on top that always lead to KD ISOs doesn't work. KD bringing up the ball and initiate offense for him to just be doubled on top and can't pass the ball over and over without adjustment won't cut it. Being up 13 to just collapse in OT without putting in guards to open up the floor and initiate offense is terrible. Think it's more coaching adjustments than player conflicts
Good vid – Phx is happier with D.Brooks and J.Green than KD.
KD is weakest superstar this league has ever seen
I believe Sengun has massive potentially, he has just been put in the deep end and isn't the rockets missing their point guard this season? Not just Adams due to injury?
In basketball, it doesn't matter how old you are … if you got tired of supporting a younger guy's flaws … stop complaining and try your best … if you can't, then retire now … don't be like the bum in la. Well, with kd's ego, he won't retire … and he's also not a team player at heart … he likes it when he's the only star of the team blaming teammates… just like lebum!
4:12 what the heck … the problem here was the whole team's defense not one player… the ego man wanted his teammate to play defense when he himself just watched an opposing player took a layup in his face.
No one Can keep the twitter accounts straight when you’re hight
Like everything it's the owners/gms fallt, they litreally had the chance at the trade deadline and did nothing….
i say it again, trade KD for giannis.
Even Curry was mad at KD. that is why he was sent so easily…
That block alone proves he is good at defence
Durant has a face of a snake. someone you can't trust by just by looking at him. he possess a bad energy since sonics days
When Alperen Sengun made that amazing block, he fell and was bleeding. His teammates were so nonchalant about it and did not bother about it. It felt so obvious the Rockets are just very disconnected. KD is just so toxic.
OMD bro just shoosh lakers suck have a cry
Durant is a jerk. Always has been. A lot of American ‘stars’ are.
Looser Coach
When the KD Files came out, I was thinking as to why the rockets offense have been abysmal as of late. They were the fourth seed but they were the sorriest 4th seed in history. Then i found out that Steven Adams was injured. The rockets were a garbage shooting team with only having KD as a shooter. Since the game plan of teams have been to double KD (His weakness), they let the rockets shoot, only this time, they have no one to clean up or grab offensive rebounds.
Steven Adams is literally the soul of Houston's offense and defense, if i were him I would renegotiate for a 30 million dollar/year contract because the rockets can not win a playoff series without him.
KD=Keep Distance .
Well this team needed FVV and Adams more to be an organization than to make the finals. These guys and Dillon Brooks helped the team to feel like a brotherhood and you lost all of them and put an infamously toxic player to this roster. We also see that Ime had not been able to manage this roster; he has a great strategy on 82 games but he simply cannot manage almost all of the last 5 minutes of the matches. This also makes the team go down. The biggest problem is when FVV and Adams returns, they will find all these problems rooted deep inside the team. Its tough.
KD is toxic anyway. i feel like this dude is cancerous for every locker room, so i´m not surprised. Now he poisened the Rockets…
This is just poorly timed; KD Files dropped in mid February and Alpi had a back issue back then. Alpi's been balling out and defending quite well since then, he's had almost 90 steals and 80 blocks this season. Not even gonna watch this, sorry guys; do better, clickbaiting does not suit you.
Thunder: He left, fair, but he also felt he couldn't win with westbrook, and he didn't want to become the next charlkes Barkley.
Warriors: Got his 2 rings and bounced. Mission completed.
Nets: Kyrie going rogue, and they only played in 16? games together all in all? One shoe size away from the nba finals? Carry job. Check
Suns: Disaster compilation, after that finals run, everything went south. Suns management did a poor decision, and adding bradley beal messed everything up.
Rockets: KD is an old man (in basketball terms), and what he talked about privately in chat, is what players say about each other all the time, if you ever played team basketball on any level, this goes around 24/7, the only difference is that this became public. Stupid friends, enemies.
Also, this was on houston for not realizing that D.Brooks actually is better than KD (in rockets environement), and Jalen Green absolutley important for team success. The verdict will come next season when they have FFV back. Let's see then what happens.
The toxic NBA culture wants toxic, superfluous, arrogant, selfish "superstars". This is why the NBA does not want Nikola Jokić who is exactly the opposite, a model player and a model family man.
To understand a player's importance to the team, you only need to look at the team's performance in the games he plays in his absence. Alperen is a true wildcard. He does everything for his team, both defensively and offensively. He has the potential and youth to do even more.
without steph there's no kd.
KD, at 37 still looking for a team to own him and get his jersey retired. This explains his character and ownership of the franchise.
I can get KD frustration sometimes, but man, the way is dealing with it is like a fucking child. He cant talk with teammates and obviously dont listen to anything. So toxic and frustrating to have someone that good having a 14 yo brain when it's not basket.
kd is a cancer, always has been
Thank you Boston for not taking KD and having Joe Mazulla
D
It's on both kd and sengun. They both quit, and are not leaders. 2 great number 2s is tough.
Kd is 37. The rockets should bench his ego and relegate him to a catch and shoot option and give the wheels to Alperen. They should also sack Udoka and sign Mike Malone.
Seems where ever KD there is a locker room problem. I said when he went to the rockets it was ever for them.
Sengun > the Burner
KD ruins any team he's part of
Can someone tell me why KD is an asshole?:he seems like a cry baby from here
kd should get his wrinkly old skinny ass out if he does not stop behaving right, his mental is weak
Its KD, how many teams has this guy been on? When you keep leaving teams you have to look in the mirror to see the real problem, yourself.
KD doesn't have a team he can call home. No one wants to play with him because he is the problem. And you are right, he doesn't know how to tough it out. He maybe out of the league very soon with no more rings.
i lmao when YouTube channels saying this team is solid when they won many games early, like did y'all forgot he has the most toxic superstar in their team now ? and the 4th time KD in 4 different teams are becoming the problem, literally.
wait until they said whatever teams got KD next in the summer will contend, lmao what a laughing circle.
Rockets should’ve never brought in KD. He’s a terrible team player, ruining the development of their young players.
Time for a 'next chapter'
