Lou you need to stop being all on your feelings Trey is not the same player and the Hawks were like three and eight with him and they were horrible now they're right at the 5th seat so until you're real with yourself how can other people believe you 🙏 when the facts are right in front of you the numbers are right in front of you how bad tray was all he done was dribble dribble dribble shoot dribble dribble dribble pass everything was about tray a light trade for a couple of years plays no defense none one of the worst players ever in the league really bad shooting percentage considering how short he is really bad yeah and he it was all about him everything was about him if he was hot we won if he was cold we lost yeah it's not about one player I'll never be that way I coached I understand the game the Hawks have now developed better because Trey got out of there nobody could develop because everything was about him stop going to the games and everything it was so bad😢 so do you need to be real because house anybody that's reading this or watching this going to want to hear what you got to say if you're all types of a homer

Lou. They’re better without him lol. It’s ok to say it. They were better without him every time he was injured in the past 3 seasons…and that ECF run was because Ben Simmons imploded lol. It was a lucky matchup, an anomaly, which is why the Hawks haven’t won a single playoff series with Trae before or after that season.
My personal opinion I think Trae wasn’t hungry anymore the last couple of years. I think after that eastern conference final run when he got his pickle ball team, got the Jordan deal, got the assistant gm job for Oklahoma, and started the podcast. Before that he had none of that once that Trae young brand got a name every summer was less summer leagues and less work in my opinion. Hope he finds that hunger again in Washington

You are NOT an "All World Player" if you are not an efficient scorer AND can play decent defense. Trae requires 25 shots to score 30. And he a liability on defense. These are no secrets to anyone who watch him.

Trae was too small, couldnt shoot the 3 consistently, couldnt play D, couldnt rebound, couldnt play off ball, and when he has to play against a real big physical team he kinda folds up 🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾
Trae Young did not carry the Hawks to the Eastern Conference finals. The sharp shooters were draining 3s to cover up for his coach killing lack of defensive abilities. Ya'll need to remember what happened. As soon as we got rid of those shooters we started losing. Get it right. The Hawks are winning because Trae is a coaching killing liability. $46Ms? Trae would need to be the 4th or 5th best player on the team to win a Championship but he was getting paid like he was the best. That ain't gonna work. So glad he's not in Atlanta now. As a Hawks fan…we got lucky that we were able to unload him and open up the chance to win again. He's not good enough and he never was.

Hard to say this team is better without Trae as at the start of the season, this was a very different team with multiple injuries. It sucks we were not able to run it as a healthy group with Trae, however are we a better defensive team without Trae Young? Yes 100%. I just hope we are able to continue to play well in the playoffs without having a player who can break down defenses on his own.
This team plays as a unit now, it was a one man show with a four man supporting cast. Naw/CJ fit the system better. Trae was a defensive liability. Teams would purposely switch to whoever he was guarding and most of the time they would score

We love trae, but they are definitely better without trae, even when he was here, and wasn’t playing, they played better team ball.
You know how many times I’ve watched the hawks score 130+ and lose. Getting rid of Ashtray Young was the best thing for Atlanta and everyone game is getting better and the ball moves around and not sticking in one person hands we also don’t have a defensive liability on the floor and the #1 turnovers/game player since tray young was drafted

Yes YOU CAN SAY THEY ARE A BETTER TEAM!! Hawks are 16-2 on this streak. The 2 losses at Houston and at Boston. with Trae they were not making the playoffs. CJ was an expiring contract trade idea but now he has become this leader for this team This run happened when he got inserted into the lineup. Right now they play the Knicks in the first round? and they are beatable. be funny if the Knicks lose 1st round. last year they lost to Eastern Conference finals and then fired Tom Thibodeau. imagine losing to Hawks here? IT Could and should happen based on how Atlanta is playing NOW. This turn around all happened when CJ McCollum who was coming off the bench was inserted into starting lineup by Quin Snyder. Team clicked off his veteran leadership. Snyder says his presence in locker room has changed the team too. He was the leader and veteran the team needed
