The Raptors will be in the play-in round and will lose to the Hornets. That's the talent level of this team.

I think getting that playoff experience would be nice. But since they cant beat top teams. This team is not ready
Not seeing the same hops from Barnes recently, could be his knee flaring up again. The issue is that the Raptors don't exactly have an above the rim finisher that he can lob passes to so he's forced to play a more passive role. If he, as an already poor jump shooter also can't slash in, then he wont get the respect that opens up passing angles.
This team is not going anywhere, let’s be honest. Hate to say it, Barnes is good but not a franchise player.
If Bobby won’t shake up the team at draft I fire him. That $hit needed to be done last year. Why the F would you keep Ochai through draft he was coming off very good year 40% from 3 and decent D his stock was high and you wanted to give GD and J’KW run. That is just dumb A$$. Trade deadline you have to give a second to get under cap and get rid of him.
We had 3 holes going into last draft and they only filled one in CMB. Both JP and IQ have missed time additionally not filling holes and losing games.
We need to change at least 2 starters this year now 1 could become a 6th man but anything less than that and filling the roster and Bobby needs to be gone!
Raptors need to fire Darko and hire Mike Malone. Darko is not the coach to take this team to the next level. Then fix the bench. Get a true back up center, a third string pg (Hepburn?), and a proven scorer-shooter for the bench. Also, sign Boucher as the team vet that can still play.
The starting 5 is just fine…
Start covering the toronto tempo
Guys at this point the playin is what we should be wanting. We need another top tier player to add to this core. Picking 20 instead of 16 or 17th is a big deal. Come draft night we will be extremely thankful if we are at 17 or 18 and not 20. Mark my words. If we pick 19 or 20, a great player that we all want will go at 16/17/18 and we will all cry. Maybe that’s our future centre.
I also really hope we get another higher second round pick. Maybe 35-40. We could get an awesome player here. This draft is so deep. Players will be picked 30-40 in this draft, that would have been 20-25 in the 2024 draft.

In September you and Flunkis and the rest had the Raps as a playin team, that was your evaluation. That was you "expertise". Raps start well, and teams like Philly, the Heat and Orlando who were supposed to be better, came up lame. That put the Raps higher than expected. The Raps come down to earth a bit, the other 3 teams come back to expectation a bit and then throw in the unexpected play of the Hawks no one seen coming and the Raps are right were they should be. where you predicted – and for some reason, its now a f@ilure to you. You and Flunkis prove constantly that best sport voices are either in the States or working in other careers. If the Raps avoid the playin, its right were they were expected and that is a win. If they go straight in, that is success.
The fact this roster isn't nailed still shows there's no serious playoff aspirations. Darko said the team would be finals ready in 2-3 years… they don't see what we have, and I don't understand the tactic. If there's no aspirations to go far give Gradey, Jackson-Davis and Battle more minutes so they can figure it out for next year.
If we lose the first play in match and win the second one we could play detroit with no cade. I think thats are only route to the second round
Dude..this team ain't that good, bad coaching, bad locker room, bad chemistry, roster is awful, 2 many guys making 2 much money for below average player, no superstar pretenders..Look at there record after all star break,Awful… Injuries..huh..that's an excuse,IQ is not playing, his Trash, actually they play better without him..plus I've never seen a guy so happy not 2 play basketball.
Lastly, Darko…his not that guy, he made Scottie regress, he shouldn't even be assistant coach, maybe g leager coach, horrible coach. I can count at least 10 games that his lost, bc of his bad coaching. Honestly I want this team out, they'll probably finish 9th, get bounced. Play in s%&&, is Fake getting in, u should not be in playoffs,dumbest thing ever. This team is so Soft, no leader, bunch of woke players..maybe not RJ, even though I'm not fan of his game, at least he tries and says what needs 2 be said. If we can get a playoff series against a team that is trying to lose and all our guys really dig deep and give one hundred percent we might manage to stretch the first round to a sixth or even seventh game.
But that's only if we get one or two teams in the play in that are trying to lose and our guys have the games of their lives with perfect chemistry,
So, I guess what I'm saying is: "We've got a chance!"
it is kinda funny that Precious beat the entire Raptors team by himself. And not just beat, but dominate.
I said it before and i’ll say it again..We are not making the playoffs..and to be honest, we will get swept 1st round anyway..We can’t beat anybody over .500
I guarantee that NONE of the clowns in the comments predicted the Raps would have 43 wins total, let alone with 5 more to go. Y'all need to stfu and not only enjoy the struggle but appreciate what this team has accomplished to this point. I predicted they would easily go .500 on the season and could get 50 wins if they were fully healthy but to be fair I'm also disappointed with their recent play. That said, the casuals in the comments calling for Darko's head or for a full rebuild are just that: know-nothing casuals🤡.
@benrogers who are you kidding? raptors are not getting out of the play in lol. what they should be doing is resting players since they cant drop out of the play in so they have a chance at winning the play in games. they limping into play in, with scottie barnes and others injured, they gonna lose anyways. which may be for the best as getting a late lottery pick in this years draft is a strong pick still. scottie barnes playing injured is like a 10th scoring option now, so calling it a season may be the best thing getting bounced out of the play in. SB isnt even playing defence now he so banged up, he moving like nurkic.
best thing that can happen is raptors play the hornets in the first round of play in and get bounced for a late lottery pick. teams banged up and against playoff teams, the raptors would get swept in the 1st round. so play in for what, take the late lottery pick and roll the dice for a higher pick with a small chance. its better than getting swept with scottie barnes banged up and burnt out playing like a pylon right now.
the only chance raptors have at advancing in the 1st round is if the opposition team plane crashes with all their players on it, and the raptors have to play a gleague team in the first round.
so take the late lottery pick and count your lucky stars its a stronger deeper draft than last year. late lottery is a great pick.
