The question of being in 3rd or 4th is silly. You want to get to the top of the hill so find a way to make the hill more manageable… it's that simple. There is a goal they're trying to achieve but not a requirement on how to go about it.

FYI: Cavs are doing both since Allen returned. They play hard, tune up and lead early in games, then coast and take a loss to retain the 4 seed.

Honestly if the Cavs are FULLY healthy and EVERYBODY is available it really doesn't matter. I would much rather face Boston in the ECF especially if they have a few 7 game series
