  1. Everybody thought the Eastern conference would suck this year but based on net rating, 4 of the top 6 teams in the league are in the Eastern conference. Obviously the top two teams are the Spurs and Thunder with 8.6 and 11.3 but after that, the next team in the West is Houston with a net rating of 5. 6 out of 10 of the top teams in the league by net rating are in the East. A healthy Celtics has as much a chance to win the title as any team in the West. I think the East is back. A better East means better preparation for the best team coming out of the West.

  2. The Celtics need Tatum to be a high IQ play maker who consistently takes good shots when he shoots. This version of Tatum gives them a legitimate opportunity to win a second championship in three years.

  3. love JT when he focuses on Rebounding & Assist -no hero ball- the Celtics will win with this version of JT 💖

  4. Going into the season, the biggest red flag many 'analysts' had about the Celtics was their front court. While Jokic, Wemby, Embiid, and Giannis, when healthy, are all better than Queta with all of what they can do, it's hard to say that there is a front court pair in the league better than Queta and Tatum. The three pairs which need to be considered are KAT & Robinson, Allen & Mobley, and Jokic & Gordon, which is fitting since there is a playoff outcome where the Celtics could face any or even all three.

  5. Great coverage Noa and a great win! Loved that they came out hot just like on Wednesday. JT's passing in the PnR to our bigs is so amazing at getting guys easy looks. Feeling really good about where we're at heading into the playoffs 🍀

  6. My Celtics related comment is that the upcoming game against NY in MSG is going to be haunting. Hope JT pre-loads on cognitive behavioral therapy and whatever gets him through the day. Yikes. My non-Celtics comment is that as of right now Cleveland expected to face Atlanta in the first round, and that is not a good thing for The Land. Double yikes.

  7. it's been awesome seeing you on NBCS Boston more often! one of the best Celtics media voices right now.

  8. No matter how this season ends it was a success. I'll just keep my expectations realistic and if they win a title great and if they don't then it's all good.

  9. Q can guard every big in the league imo, he can defend the rim and has so post moves no one really talks about to go along with his athleticism. He’s a good screener/passer and he reads the floor well.🍀🏀💪😤

  10. The growth and development this season has been gobsmacking. From uncertainty and inconsistency to dominance. Like you, I thought the Celtics would finish slightly above .500 and end up a six seed or so. But even those rosy predictions fell short of this masterclass of a season. Joe Mazzulla gets the lion's share of the credit in my view, his self-deprecating stance on COTY notwithstanding. If Tatum continues to defend, rebound and facilitate at the level he's shown so far, I'm betting we make the finals. Remarkable season. Let's hope it keeps going into June. Excellent reporting as always!
