“The Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly in a “sunken place” as Anthony Edwards deals with a knee injury similar to what sidelined Steph Curry for 2 months. The technical term for Edwards’ knee condition is patellofemoral pain syndrome. More commonly known as “runner’s knee,” it is the same condition that kept Warriors star Steph Curry out for 27 straight games. Speaking the day before his return to action, Curry described the injury as a frustrating thing to deal with because of a recovery process that is not linear. Initially, Curry said he believed he would miss a week to 10 days, but the pain lingered and kept him out for over two months.”
