Just… why? Not mad at it but its definitely odd.
Another nightmare season. Man, this is getting tiring. I hope the franchise can take the next step next season to be a contender in the East.
Bobby is in the front office flailing away… he flubbed the TDL and now can't even add a decent player to fill the open roster spot.
Chris Boucher is the perfect fit for this team both on and off of the court.
Marquelle Fultz ( 2:52 ) would make a good fit in the G-League for the Raptors, just not at the NBA level.
My prediction … at 6’ 2” he will be abused on the defensive end and will have very limited minutes, which will not allow his shooting to compensate for the shooting we lose without IQ, so the endeavour will likely be underwhelming. Lawson can at least contribute with decent shooting, but is likely better in more areas and could help more. I hope I’m wrong and he lights it up so much he ends up being a net positive, but I don’t think that’s likely.

This signing seems like an “extra two way signing”. If he does well the next couple games he’ll earn the spot on his 3pt shooting. If not Aj and Alijah are still on the books and can be converted
I blame Gradey Dick flopping as a draft pick as the reason Lawson had the rug pull from under him for key. If this dude was doing what we drafted him to do they wouldn’t have to sign Key.
