  1. I felt like the Hawks’ offense was tentative except for NAW who was the lone spark. JJ was just not good enough for a player who just won player of the month award! Hawks didn’t have a closer like Brunson who was the difference. Cory kispet would’ve made a difference. BTW, new signing Bradley looked so slow and out of sorts.

  2. The offense wasn't the issue. They just made way to many mistakes on defense down the stretch. You can't have that many blown assignments or attention lapses.
    ie.
    -Late rotations
    -And one fouls
    – falling on the ground giving up the tying 3
    – dribbling the ball off your feet and giving up a fast break layup

But with that said….JJ has to decide if he wants to be the Hawks Star player or not. He can't allow a defenders to take him out of the game like that.

JJ was missing in Action in the 4th down the stretch. His face was on the back of the milk carton.

And yes if Young Jock Landale had played they definitely would have won this game.

Great learning experiences though. Well needed game.

  3. Coach shows he only believes in the starters! For JK this is similar to Golden State! He must be looking if he makes a mistake e is done for the night!

  4. Kuminga is only playing his role. The guy only took 6 shots in 22 minutes because all the shots went to NAW, JJ and CJ. JK is doing a good job not forcing things and playing in the system. It wasn't a great JK game but in the 4th quarter he created about 4 open 3 shots for others and they missed. That's apart from the 1 JJ made. For the role he's been asked to play, that's not bad

  5. Guys played ok, but need a lot more size, power and agression at the rim for a good shot at competing with Pistons and Nicks inthe East and Spurs, Wolves, Rockets and OKC in the West for Playoffs.

Tony Bradley at 6:10 is a joke. He will not cut it.

JAMES WISEMAN is coming out really strong with full recovery from his Achilies.

Check out powerfull peformance in Fiba games recently on youtube: Wiseman and Knight Put on a SHOW

This is what former Pacers teamate Miles Turner said:
He is athletic and big- – actually really about 7/1.
He has all the intangibles and just needs a real opportunity.
    I am a fan.

  6. Hey Brad….WE GOTTA foul M.Robinson!!!!!!!! The fact that…Mr.Brick didn't shoot any….is very shocking..and a BIG MISTAKE!

  7. Brad, do you think risacher has any trade value? I feel he hasn’t really developed much at all and if he’s gonna play 7 minutes why not trade him for a team need like a big or pg. nothing against him, he’s shown flashes but he’s becoming just a body on the bench. Could help him to have a new change of scenery too.

  8. The first five minutes of the game CJ would not pass the ball to NAW. coach had to put Gabe in the game for NAW to get rhe ball

  9. Games like this are why we really need an on ball guard in this draft and then any center so the OO non minutes aren't dreadful. Its like you said in the other pod, Jalen isn't there yet (I think he can get there) and this is evident in the way they use cj. We can't be relying on cj to get us a bucket when we aren't able to run in transition and score consistently in the halfcourt. I honestly don't care who they grab out of the guard mix but I would prefer a Wagler, Brown, or Flemings over a Buries type. Maybe Acuff if you can get bro to care about defense.

  10. I think I speak for all hawks nation here….my goodness i hate peacock and their NBA coverage. They were so biased towards New York. The studio clowns were even worse.

  11. The Hawks are a Finesse team that plays to Soft. We have to become the aggressor, get meaner, more physical in the playoffs. We have to become the Bully.

  12. English fan here! Stayed up till 2:30am to watch this one and worth every min! So fun to watch such a competitive team right now. Honestly feel like we are a true center away from being a top team! Thanks for the content as always Brad!

  13. Need a backup center, need a point guard, need JJ to play defense. JJ also still doesn't feel like THE guy in these competitive clutch time matches, you can see that he doesn't have the experience. Hoping we can get a top 6 spot so we can get that much needed experience.
