I can honestly say I was confused myself with the foul. But I never thought it had anything to do with tanking.

This isn't a problem with social media, it's a problem created by all these tanking teams. It is so widespread over such a long period of time that, what else are people going to think?
Everyone knows they are intentionally tanking even if u ignore this particular instance the other 9 teams are doing the same
On the same night, the Utah Jazz gave up 95 points in the 2nd half to a terrible team, -the Pelicans. 95 points is the second most ever in a half. Didn't even make the news.
I get that both sides were shorthanded, I understand the Kings only lost by 5 (even though they could’ve easily won it), and I understand McDermott hitting a three after they intentionally fouled Seth, but cmon now. If you want Doug to be your head coach of your future, don’t you think the best option pulling this off would be to hack Draymond instead of Seth Curry (who is a career 86% FT shooter).
Also I’ll put it this way: let’s say for example the Dubs are out of the play-in and the Kings are and regardless if anyone on either team is healthy or not Golden State decides to intentionally foul a Kings player who has a similar career free throw percentage as Seth. Are you going to say that the Warriors are not blatantly tanking or are you going to say yes they are because you’re a Kings fan and that you work for them?
Look I really hate to say it like that but considering how much bs I have to go through whenever I hear Draymond get tossed from a game, you can’t ignore the fact that actions speak louder than words
You guys are usually very unbiased but c'mon now. Even if this was truly a dumb coaching mistake, you can't act like Sacramento is totally innocent of tanking. DeRozan didn't play. Russ didn't play. Monk's minutes are way down. It's not as bad as other teams but it's kind of annoying hearing Kings fans claim they're not tanking at all
