From Undrafted To Draining 11 Threes In One Game!
AJ Green set a Milwaukee record with 11 three-pointers in the Bucks’ 125-108 win over the Nets.
The third-year guard scored a career-high 35 points, while surpassing Damian Lillard and Ray Allen, who were tied with the previous record of 10 threes.
Green hails from Cedar Falls, Iowa, where he won a state championship before becoming the highest-rated commit at Northern Iowa, where his father was an assistant and is now the head coach.
He won Missouri Valley Freshman of the Year, and Player of the Year twice, with an injured season in between.
Green went undrafted in 2022, but signed a two-way deal with the Bucks and quickly proved himself, earning a contract extension in October.
His sister Emerson just finished her senior season also with the Panthers.
Against Brooklyn, Cormac Ryan also scored a career-high with 28, including 5 threes.
