The Nets trading down from 6 feels more likely than people want to admit.
Too much smoke around this pick.
Brooklyn keeps getting linked to Nate Ament, but I donât believe they need to take him at 6. His name has been connected to us too much for it to be nothing, but that does not mean heâs the pick at 6. That feels more like leverage than a lock.
Sacramento is sitting at 7 and the Darius Acuff Jr. smoke is loud. If the Kings really want him, Brooklyn can make them come up one spot and pay for it. Thatâs clean business.
Atlanta at 8 is another team to watch. Locked On Nets already floated them as a possible trade-down partner, and Atlanta has enough moving parts to either come up or move around depending on who falls.
Dallas at 9 is definitely in the business of trying to move up. They need guard help, and thereâs been real noise around Mikel Brown Jr. If they think Brown, Acuff, or another lead guard wonât make it to 9, that phone call to Brooklyn makes sense.
Thatâs why pick 6 is valuable. Brooklyn doesnât have to panic. Theyâre sitting right in front of Sacramento, Atlanta, and Dallas, and all three have reasons to move depending on how the board breaks.
So if the Nets like Nate Ament, Brayden Burries, or another player in that 7 to 10 range, the smart play is simple:
Donât reach at 6.
Make another team pay for urgency.
The ONLY team Brooklyn should even consider REALISTICALLY trading back with is OKC who has the 12th and 17th picks to package together alongside a Isaiah Joe Aaron Wiggins or Ajay Mitchell which could be an enticing package for Brooklyn to consider đ đ§….
Knicks 2 away from a Championship. FIRE MARKS!!!!!!!!!
Keep our pick and draft Mikael Brown Jrâźď¸đŻ
I think your discounting the fact that you get Jimmy Butler he is going to rearing to go on an expiring contract. You can then flip Butler again at the trade deadline. So much more value there than just the expiring contract.
Acuff or Mikal Brown Jr is the only pick. I would only trade to get back into the first and trade with OKC. If we do then you draft Ament or a center!!
Cason Wallace is a good young player but yâall are talking about trading for a small guard (6â2.5â barefoot) but donât want to draft a small guard which I get the obvious reasons whyâŚI can absolutely be missing it but do you see star potential in Cason Wallace? Because the PGs in our draft range has star potential do they not?
Lucas….fingers in the mouth is a bad look ….
Who is proposing these garbage trades?
OKC don't have rosters spots to draft rookies, plus ppl r getting raises, salary needs to be she. We can get thier picks without giving up #6
A team devoid of ANY real talent entertaining trading down to draft what…. more untalented players! This front office and ownership need to go!
Where is this AI video?
Keep pick and draft Ament
