Garbage minutes and locker room/practice upgrade. Hell, with his experience and his basketball IQ, he’s probably better as a semi-coach.

I think people are underselling Blake. With this team, he could be a decent contributor. The way I see it, I feel like he could be solid in the Theis role

Charges and D. BG led the league in charges drawn last year only playing 17 min per game. Next year in the playoffs when Giannis is dropping his shoulder and driving BG is going to be jumping in front of him. Can’t put a price on Giannis in foul trouble in the playoffs. Taking that part of his game is really taking his claws away. He’s also an extra big body to throw at Bam, Giannis, and Embiid. He’s going to hang all over them and be extra physical, and hack them up. Even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes. It’s going to make them work harder while our starters get a quick breather. Additionally I think he’ll be a great locker room vet. His playing time will be very limited but I think he adds a lot of value.
