  1. With the second team highlighting Monk Mitchell and Murray. Were nearly held scoreless in the short scrimmage. They need to play harder, they’re professionals

  2. You want dynamism? Sprint up steps 2 at a time. 5 times in a row. 4-5 sets and 1-2 times a week. You'll be shot out of a rocket.

  3. Concentrate on fakes, faints, no-look passes and look offs. BE CREATIVE AND IMAGINATIVE during practice. That's worth more than a worthless 5×5.

  4. Feels like the moment Coach Brown gave Davion his first taste of being a starting point guard. Be vocal. Be visible. Run the point !!! No hiding at the end of the bench or in the G-league.

  5. Iam not too worried about a win or loss in game 1 of the pre season.

I would love for the Kings to win, don't get me wrong.

But…what I really want to see is evidence they are playing together. As a team.

Say it is Fox, Huerter, Sabonis, Barnes and Murray in the starting lineup.

My hope is that team chemistry, passing, effort on defense and rebounding are all in good shape. While I don't expect them to get more than about 15 minutes of play time in order to evaluate the rest of the players, my hope is that when they are on the floor, we will see them working together. Pushing the tempo, good transition work and hitting free throws when they have an opportunity.

Same goes with the second unit.

When it comes to the 3rd and 4th Units….I just hope it becomes clear who really belongs in a Kings uniform and who needs to go to Europe, Australia or the G League.

Game 2…I start looking for building on this and care a little more about seeing a win. Because we need positive energy to help create momentum going into the regular season.

  6. Yes Mitchell needs to do what he does. I mean be aggressive at scoring, draw attention as in double teams and know when to kick it out to the open team-mate. He sets the pace
