  1. the only thing it proves is to morons who think the NCAA is better comp. Nothing to do with the nba

Bro the main unit of the Suns didnt play more than 23 minutes, while the 36ers had guys playing 40 minutes lol

  3. shammmgodd

a lot of people missing the point in here

Fraudulent suns bout to win 30 games and be in the lottery

Damn I wasn’t expecting people to get so wound up, It’s literally just an article about the NBL’s upward trajectory in comparison to how it was 10 years ago lol

The gap is still hugely vast between the NBL & NBA but it’s still unreal for an Aussie team to beat an NBA team even if it was the second squad.

They had a ton of 3 pt shooting luck on a night where the suns 3s didn’t fall…it happens

It’s pretty silly to draw conclusion from a preseason game.

I’m not even saying the statement is wrong. It may be right but I wouldn’t draw much fun a game that doesn’t count.

  8. You can say the gap is closing i guess but it’s still a big ass gap

One team shot 56% from three, one team shot 27%. It was a case of one team being hot and one team being cold, it’s not that deep lol.

its your fault that we have to deal with this now, suns

It’s not so much that the NBA got worse, on the contrary, but the fact that a competition other than the one from USA has gotten better. I still believe, for example, that the Euroleague is still better than the NBL, but those two are a lot closer now

  12. Naismythology

I mean, sure. The gap between the NBA and any other league, particularly international ones, has been consistently closing since 1992. One preseason game can’t be used as “proof” for that, though. And it’s still a huge gap.

Why y’all getting so pressed. If Wembanyama was on the team you’d be agreeing with the article lmao. It’s not even saying the NBL is even close to NBA. Don’t worry, nothing is touching the precious NBA.

I want to believe this headline….but the 36ers were 10-18 this past season in NBL. A huge bit of luck. Kinda like my expansion Raptors beating the 72 win Bulls. Took another 23 years till we caught and became champs.

  15. UserWithoutAName13

It’s because the NBL is the toughest league in the world. No one tougher.

    We’ll catch up eventually.

  16. armandocalvinisius

    nah

the most proven about last night is everything about shooting volume 3s

  17. steve_petro

The gap is not closing. Before this they barely beat a prep school that was mostly 17 and 18 year olds in overtime. The NBL is still far below the Euroleague and CBA. As of 2022 the NBL is currently ranked the 11 best league in the world.

Luka Doncic has ended the Phoenix suns
