That game hurt my eyes last night. I can say take the under on Hornets games. Mitch Business plan 2023-24. Sign Miles Bridges in the offseason, extend LaMelo in the offseason, sign and trade Pj Washington for Duncan Robinson.
Sorry to be negative but we might as well just tank this season for a top 3 draft pick. I don’t expect a playoff finish without miles this season
The Hornets Team trying to figure out who going to replace Miles Bridges 20 points. They not. They just going to lose by 12 points a night. THIS GOING TO BE A LONG Year ON THE PODCAST. James Bouknight needs more spacing to operate, he is on the wrong team for spacing . I don't see see him flourishing with the Hornets due to lack of spacing. All that dribbling he likes to do, he needs lots of space. He should have went to the Warriors or the Sounds. Lamelo looked suspect. I had a keen eye on the shot selection of LaMelo Ball. I got 4 Charlotte Hornets Game Tickets. Zion going to freaking Windmill on Nick Richards.
Losing by that much was actually good, their (players) egos were getting the better part of them,
All the practice sessions didn't look serious at all

I saw Williams speak live up close at a hornets season ticket holder event. My first reaction was how tall and skinny he is. I thought to myself that he is going to be manhandled by big centers.

I don’t wanna be too hard on anyone cause the whole team looked bad. BUT….I was expecting more from melo to lead this team(and terry)…We we’re tied in the 1st quarter and then melo missed a jump shot, then missed a 3 then had a bad alley oop pass and next thing you know we down by 10-12 and we couldn’t recover cause we just throwing up bricks. We had no game plan on top the fact we missing shots. I’ve said it before, if we gonna chuck up 3s make sure 1/2 people there for the rebound sighhh….this has to be a wake up call to the organization and the players
This was like deja vu all over again. How many times did Lamelo try to pick and roll with plumlee? You could see it in Melo’s eyes after about the fifteenth attempt. Plumlee is killing this team!! For Gods sake get someone in there and that can anticipate what the hell Melo is trying to do. It’s not rocket science. And get rid of Oubre. He’s in this game for nobody other than himself.

I don't think we should panic (at least, not any more than we would have been panicking already!). For the first quarter, we actually hung in there well; whether you can attribute some of this blow out to tiredness is up for debate, but the effort was there to start with and even the Celtics commentators were impressed with some of our play early. We all know that players like Kai and Mark are still projects and need work physically to truly make their way in the league, so being upset they didn't play well is pretty pointless. Bouknight is a little more disheartening for me but he didn't even get to play in summer league so would likely be rusty in a true game setting though Bryce improved his chances to make the roster. If we can't get someone to step up as another ball handler, we're going to need to rely on Gordon for that and obviously that is risky. Hopefully the DSJ revival works with a little time and we don't lose the ball movement when Lamelo is off court. We are about 40 pts off of a Celtics finals team that just got better. Last season we lost by 54 in preseason and still finished .500 so you can't fully embrace the tank off of this game. Unfortunately, its really looking like that is where things are headed. Charlotte, to me, is going to hope Miles ends up getting only a single season off and comes back budget friendly, we lose to a point we can draft a star next year and that a year of hard knocks develops one of our many high potential young players into a 15-18 ppg player. Makes me sick in a sense, but I really don't know what other options they have at this point than to knuckle down on development and hope for the best.
I tried to tell people how important Miles was to this team. He’s EXTREMELY valuable. He’s the only player that can consistently get into the paint with his physicality to get the defenses attention.

Plumlees free throw shooting is so bad. He should be the third center coming off the bench because his defense and rebounding doesn't make up for it. Mark Williams and Nick Richards should see most of the playing time. I'll put Kai Jones in that mix too. If there is a position to give up fouls would be the center position.

I would not want to be in that hornets locker room after the game they had..that was embarrassing af…melo needs to figure out the shot selection and balance between scoring and passing/getting everybody involved which he needs to do, especially without miles..
