The more i hear his answer, the more f correa i feel. This is officially the start of the fall of carlos correa

👋Hi hanga talaga youngmaa.Site ako sa sipag at paensya isang ikaw. 👍💞💫 Ito ang hinihintay ko all this time. napakagandangu musika at palabas👍💃🎶 I Like you baby 💜//💜
Kind of money Correa would want is not worth it.If we want free agent next year,go all in and bid for Judge, probably won't get him,but he would be worth what he wants
It’s just funny to me that he is all mad the twins didn’t make the postseason. Like what did you expect? 😂
Love him but the train keeps moving Our Rook has balled out
Nope hell no
Well if the way Correa responded is going to be more bottom line to people here, I would say to those people: go out and look for a SS that can play elite defense and hit, with Correa's postseason accolades and leadership skills. Correa is only 28 years old. Look at what those SSs are getting paid, granted, SS is the most important defensive position in baseball. 🤷♀️ The message is to the owners. It's not my money that will pay him. Correa deserves to get paid, at minimum, market value for a SS like him.
No, not at what Correa is asking for.
Just looking at some of the teams that the Astros will potentially play in the postseason, Correa has a significantly better OBP vs what Peña has.
Against the Yankees, this season
Peña .250 average and .250 OBP
Correa hit .333, OBP .407
Peña vs Tampa Bay this season
.250 average, .357 OBP.
Correa .571 average, .609 OBP
Peña vs Toronto
.083 Average, .185 OBP
Correa .231 average, .333 OBP
Peña vs Cleveland:
.250 average, .250 OBP
Correa vs Cleveland
.387 Average, .457 OBP
The Astros are trying to win right now. So comparing Peña's and Correa's rookie seasons is irrelevant. First of all, Correa was a #1 pick and was 20 years old when he won ROY in 2015. There's no comparison there. Correa brings much more value to the team right now. Peña is good, but the Astros are trying to win now. Defensively, Peña will never have the arm range that Correa has. It says something about Correa that his stats are similar to Peña's because the Twins' lineup isn't good. If Correa had all the opportunities Peña had and was hitting between Altuve and Alvarez, the Astros' offense would be better.
Heck no to greedy Carlos.
He can go to PR and work for $7 an hour. I'd love to see him sign a 10 year 440 million contract with the Didgers or Yankees and then only play half the time. All he cares about us the mo ey and as soon as he gets his idiotic mega millions deal he will either start sucking or out most of the time.
Let the Yankees have him.
Tell Cody to not be ashamed of his lack of shirts I dream of the day when I can just have nothing in my closet but a few good shirts
Don’t want him back. We have other guys we need to keep!!!
I've never known why people go crazy about Trea Turner. The guy disappears in the postseason. Have you guys looked at his career postseason stats? 🤦♀️
.228 avg
.274 obp
.287 slg
.561 OPS
Marcus Simien is 31 years old.
1,142 career games .254 AVG, .321 OBP, .761 OPS, 180 HRs, 545 RBIs.
Carlos Correa 849 career games .276 AVG, .355 OBP, .830 OPS, 147 HRs, 528 RBIs.
He came up in 2013, but he has close to the amount of HRs and RBIs that Correa has in a lot more games played. Correa came up in 2015. It's a damn shame that the Astros essentially offered Correa, at 27 years old, similar to what the Rangers paid Simien at 31 years old. Damn shame 🤦♀️
No he's not worth the money and very injury prone
it you can, don't waste time sign him!!!
Correa is a bum who cares only about money. I’m glad he’s gone.
Good response, chase the 💰
Correa talking that hot shit! Let em chase his bag
He would cost too much in terms of current players we need to extend.
This is exactly why Astros didn't give him this type of contract. With those opt out in the contract.
Nope, Carlos needs to move on from the STROS! The “product” we have now is working out fine. Best of luck, Carlos!
If spending the money to have him back and potentially a chance of signing ohtani. I'd rather have ohtanj
We have openings next year at 1B and CF. If he wants to be back with a winner, sign here and learn a new position. He has the glove to be a fine 1B and the speed to be a solid CF. I think both would be easier on his body so he doesn't miss a few months with back ailments. It's a win-win but I doubt we offer enough for him. Keep in mind, we may be losing Verlander ($25 mil), Brantley ($16 mil) and Yuli ($8 mil) but we will have to pay arbitration increases to Tucker and Valdez plus Bregman's deal takes a big jump this winter. If it weren't Bora$$, we might have a deal with Carlos.
Correa, thanks for the memories. I’m content with our divorce. Good luck with your life.
weren't the Yankees considering him last year? wouldn't they be looking at Carlos again?
Not sure who convinced him to not resign with HTown. Big mistake.
HELL NO!!!!
I would take him back. 5yrs 150 or 3yrs at 100. Let yuli go. Move Bregman to 1st and correa to 3rd
The answer to the topic is, "No." Carlos has had his run with the club. He's had an injury-plagued career and would cost too much money to do a long-term deal with. Sure, he's an elite talent, but he never stays healthy. Jeremy Pena is going to be a very good player in the long run. Carlos will need to move on if he can't come to a working deal with the Twins.
Bye!
Not mad at him wish him truly the best go get ur bag brother
As an Astros fan I’d rather just keep playing Peña I like Correa a lot but I’d just rather have Peña
I just hope we don’t miss postseason Correa. And do hope Correa gets a HUGE contract, preferably with a team that won’t affect the Astros
Injury prone not worth that much
How ever it would be doable just not at that price
How ever if JV doesn't return we might need a NEW ace pitcher they might go after that
Very funny episode, guys 👍
I am not surprised. He still lives in Houston.
Idk if bogaerts is better than Correa! Does anybody have the stats?
It's kinda funny Pena has a 4.5 war rookie season corra has a 5.1war this year is A .6 war worth 33 million
Move Peña to first
I believe the Astros should offer him a contract…for 1 million! 😆 And do it in a Denzel American Gangster type of way.
