I get both sides tho. they made a move to get Dinwiddie who needs the ball in his hands to have an effect, getting THJ back is like another FA signing and Christian Wood likes to create his own offense. As good as JB is, they had to alleviate the rotational pressure.

We are going to start a dialogue on the challenge of playing next to a historically ball dominant player. Mavs fans never truly appreciated how he was able to fit in next to Luka and thrive next to him. They will learn.

That’s what he’ll give you. He was 16/5 last season, and it was by far his best season. The lowdown on him in high school was that he’s an undersized guard who can find his own shot and struggles with playmaking. He’s still that today.

dallas gonna miss him. first 40 games with him luka and tim was going to be really good once luka healed up and became healthy. shame we never got to see them at their best last year since luka tim getting hurt or being fat

Everyone’s expecting mavs to take a step back but I really don’t see it. JB got his money and good for him but dinwiddie has proven himself as a capable ball handler next to Luka if you watched the end of the regular season and past the first round. Also we addressed major areas of weakness at the big spots. We’ll be good again
