>>if we lose tonight – likely because we did not draft Jović – we are totally fucked for the season.

Does it matter that it’s only preseason? *no*
Does building synchronicity after a roster change have an impact? *fuck off*
Do the rookies get an ounce of slack? *fuck you draft vets*

This game pretty foreshadows the season. Tank for Wembanyama
I know a lot of people clowned on the Watson pick but I feel like he’ll end up being better than Braun
I really like Peyton Watson
Don’t wanna be a doomer and don’t usually take preseason very seriously but with Jokic and Jamal confirmed out for the season, MPJ defending like his spine is broken again, Bones regressing, Facu still on the team and no Booger, I think it would be ideal for this team to forfeit every single game of the upcoming season and try to get Victor or Scooter
Full moon for doomers tonight
Why even have a season after these last 2 games?
im done with preseason, all my homies hate preseason
Needs moar injury updates
this bill guy needs to go back to the boneyard
Tank for wemba
Jack White was the only positive +/-. I’ve seen enough to know he is starting material.
I HEARD JAMAL DIED ON THE COURT?! DECAPITATED?!?!?
Broncos added plus offensive guys and get worse offensively.
Nuggets added plus defenders and get worse defensively.
Such is life.
Number one thing I was worried about…Malone has no idea how to use Bruce Brown.
Anyone have a replay of when Jamal left the game? I managed to look away every time they showed it.
Peyton need to get some run during the season and Jack White is a brick wall with snakey gargoyle hands, wouldnt mind him playing over Vlatko/Reed
yo for all the haters of serbia in this sub : jovic looks nice .
The Bulls shot 63.6% on their 2s, 53.6% on their 3s, 60.2% overall, and 88.9% from the line. That comes out to total team TS% of 72.0% and team EFG% of 69.3%. Definitely a hot night from Chicago and definitely not something that they can maintain.
But even still, both OKC and CHI have completely had their way moving offensively and getting where they want and are converting on an absurdly high amount of their 2pt shot attempts. OKC shot 57.1% on Monday, so through both games the Nuggets are allowing opponents to shoot 60.6% on their 2pt attempts. Last year the Nuggets were the 4th worst team in the league at defending 2pt shots, allowing 54.9% conversions. Hot shooting is one thing, but it definitely *feels* like both OKC and CHI have had a much easier time generating quality shots than Denver on the other end. That is a big deal.
Similarly, the Nuggets were the 4th worst team last year in terms of TOV per game with 14.5. They have now had back-to-back 17 TOV games.
Malone is gonna be pissed. The Nuggets have gotten thoroughly manhandled through 2 games and look a step behind who they have played against and haven’t shown any real indication of improvement in clear weakness areas from last year. Jamal didn’t play in the 2nd half which was Malone’s stated goal and left due to an obvious hamstring issue. Jokic didn’t even travel with the team.
Idk, not a good day for Nuggets fans.
Peyton has All Star potential.
Someone said he could be the next Pascal Siakam and I agree.
So…..3peat?!
I thought everyone was overselling the doomers being back but wow they really just come out of the woodwork. I just popped in after watching werewolf by night.

MmmmmmOVER!
Bol is killing the Mavs right now
Michael Malone, defense coach.
Has never orchestrated a top 10 defense in 8 season’s.
Aside from Jamal leaving game and us losing the first 2 preseason games… I swear this time is going to be absolute fire. KCP is a massive upgrade to Barton. Brown is a dog on D. MPJ is righT back to where he was. Ish Smith looks good. Bones has had a C+ preseason I’d say but whatever.
I couldn’t help but to notice that DeAndre Jordam significantly outplayed Jokic tonight. Malone made the smart decision to bench Jokic.
How’s Jamal’s wrist/body language?
These two losses got me puking, shitting and crying.. I’m not okay. see you all tomorrow if I even make it til then. Murray hammy, Jokic take foul wrist and now Malone won’t even play the game so we can win. I can’t take it anymore. Good bye friends. And always remember, u/TheOrthodoxPolock favorite artist is Dj Paws.
wow Nuggets lose and WRB and Lurk skip town… does that say anything?
OG goosebumps on Netflix!!!! Smell ya later, losers.
(Daily fam: chat tomorrow probz)
I’m gonna have to go in the cryo-freezer for the season y’all bats hit after 2 meaningless games
