It makes sense but if it was going to happen it would have by now, we’ve been talking to phoenix all offseason ( John Collins, Ayton, Jock Landale trade, Now Crowder too)

The way I can even think this works is getting a third team involved and shipping out JC or Bogi. Basically anything else results in us going into the luxury tax which we’ve been working hard to avoid this off season and Crowder isn’t enough of an upgrade to change the calculus there.

It would have to be something along J Holiday, Kaminsky, and a 2nd rd pick which could work if suns are willing to accept that and can easily sign a 3rd string center to fill that last roster spot

He’d be handy to have and would bring toughness to this team . I don’t see what we could give up though . Hunter is a no and I think giving up collins for an ageing role player would be a bizzare trade to make

I guess he could help in some way, but he is less valuable than Hunter, Bogi, and possibly even Justin Holiday. All that being said, he is very likely to get waived in the near future, why bother trading at all?
