SACRAMENTO, Calif. โโ Rookie Keegan Murray led eight Sacramento Kings players in double digits as the team beat the Portland Trail Blazers 126-94 in its first preseason game at Golden Center on Oct. 9. ๐
Murray finished with 16 points, making 5 of 6 shots from behind the 3-point line in 23 minutes of action. DeโAaron Fox had 14 points, Domantas Sabonis scored 13, and Kevin Huerter and Harrison Barnes had 11 points each for the Kings (2-0). ๐
Terrance Davis chipped in 14 points while Malik Monk and Trey Lyles each finished with 10 points for the Kings. Sacramento made 21 3-pointers (46.7%) out of 45 attempts. The Kings pulled down 47 rebounds to Portlandโs 29. ๐
Sacramento, who led by as many as 36 points, also had 13 offensive rebounds, 22 fastbreak points, and 23 second-chance points. ๐
Jerami Grant led the Trail Blazers (1-3) with 17 points. Jusuf Grant had 14 points and nine rebounds and Damian Lillard added eight points and six assists. Lillard was 2-for-10 shooting from the field. ๐
The Kings will play their third preseason game on Friday, Oct. 14, against the Los Angeles Lakers at Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento. ๐
