This team is overrated defensively and has massive problems offensively. Nick is too obseesed with defense…it's not THAT important.

I'm optimistic about Scottie, but I think it's gonna take him (and Precious and Koloko) another season before they're ready to lead the team to genuine contender status. I see another 5th or 6th slot incoming, which isn't terrible in a competitive Eastern conference.

How are the Sixers seen as contenders they went 6 to an injured raptors team their biggest signing was 38 year old PJ Tucker , Harden is not MVP harden on the decline still fringe all-nba caliber of course Maxey will take a leap to a possible 22-24 PPG 6 APG season Embiid can break down anytime their still running it back with overrated Tobias Harris at the 4 and Thybulle on the wing same bench with Shake Melton Furk Thynbulle guys like Deanthony Melton Montrez dont do much . Then the Bucks have maybe the best player in the world but their core pieces are exiting their prime and have a frequent injury history its time to trade Brook Lopez than Holiday never shows up when called for their bench isn't as good as people think it is on paper . Boston will be missing Rob Williams their bench is average and a year after they overachive they usually regress back i would not be shocked if they were 6th in the east and lost in the first round .
Raptors 1st in the east Cavs will be 2nd in the east Warriors Clippers Nuggets will be top 3 in the west
Raptors won nearly 50 games with Siakam missing first 13-15 games also playing through the injury , VanVleet out post asb OG out for 34 games other guys out no bench depth and no spacing and they were only 5 games back from 1st in the east held by a 53 win Heat team the raptors if healthy would had a better record than the Suns last season .
