😢 darkness and sadness is all I know

I mean this in the least saltiest way possible but I do not care about Malcolm Brogdon’s opinion on anything lol

Seems like he’s still salty about being knocked out by us in 2019

  6. Glad we didn’t get him. Our priority should be internal growth, getting guys like him are for nba teams with championship aspirations

He was right Boston is farther along than Toronto with where Tatum & Brown are. Also Boston just went to the finals and Raptors are still in the rebuilding stage not to say we are not a good team, it just Raptors are not championship contenders yet. And Brodgon wasnt going to put us there

Given the best guard in Boston is Smart, and he’d have to compete for minutes with Fred – seems like an obvious choice.

Also can’t see us trading a 1st Rd pick for him, unlike Boston. Boston would’ve got him eitherway.

Despite what everybody is gonna say about “building with our guys” or whatever. Everything that has been rumoured this offseason has had the Raps FO looking at trade options to improve the team. Brogdon, mitchell, kd, ayton, gobert, etc raps name was all attached in some way.

The FO knows we cant just sit still if the ceiling is another first round exit again. With contract scenarios and players wanting different roles they’re gonna be looking for trade improvements all season. I’d expect a decent sized move by the deadline tbh

Looking at it objectively, anyone would make this call — Celtics were just in the Finals

People are way too fucking high on Boston

You’re telling me the team that barely got by the Middleton-less bucks that had no depth, then barely scraped by injured Herro + $45M of borderline unplayable guards that series, that then got rocked by the Warriors is a “perennial finals contender”

Y’all are such prisoners of the moment

Yeah it would’ve been cool to get him but I’m not losing sleep over it. This dude is probably the most injured player in the league and I’d be surprised if he had a healthy year with the Celtics

In my opinion the Celtics overachieved last year and are somewhat overrated as a result, but still the right move by Brogdon if he’s looking for a ‘chip

I want to know what we were offering. Was it OG for Brogdon and that pick that became Mathurin?

And he just had to share this the very first time he played us?

Cool he wanted to come. It would have been nice to have an actual rotational guard on the team. Brogdon is pretty nice but a bit overrated. I wonder who we would have given up for him.
