  1. What Kap just pointed out about the offensive line tells you everything you need to know. When reporters talk to Ryan Poles they need to ask him these tough questions about the offensive line and point out those numbers Kap mentioned. I would love to see what Poles has to say.

  2. What you expect, got a chiefs guy nagy failed, so you get another chief member and expect not to fail, saw it coming

  3. If you're getting PTSD you don't need to be an NFL quarterback. I'm just calling it like I see it Justin Fields is missing a lot of wide open wide receivers. He's holding on to the ball too long and he's not reading the defense. NFL quarterbacks get paid to make everyone around them better. We don't see Aaron Rodgers crying about his receiving core. I just don't see Justin Fields being the guy he processes too slow.

  4. Thanks Dave for eschewing the ridiculous what's wrong with Justin narrative? You just accurately said what is wrong with him- nothing. But there is something terribly wrong with the supporting cast, mostly his nitemarish Oline.

  5. It's not all on the o line though. Fields has always had problems with progression. He missed open receivers. Tape don't lie.

  6. I think they should try Teven at left tackle. Because Braxton is in over his head. Both him and Mustipher literally keep getting pushed into Fields…its like they lack strength and conditioning.

  7. Here’s what scares me as a Giants fan, Ryan Poles was one of the finalists for the GM job. That's frightening to me. 😳

  8. Personally I think it's time for the fans to stand up and boycott the bears. Boycott the owner, coach and gm. Relax on buying tickets and merchandise. Fans need to send a message. Of course it won't happen but it would be a great way to get some attention. These guys have been bums for the last 16 years.

  9. Thr have one lineman..Jenkins, yet apparently this staff doesn't like him on Weds. Dude was one of highest rated in league, yet the rotate him

  10. Agreed! This is on Ryan Poles. Fields is going to be a stud QB but maybe somewhere else after his rookie year.

  11. Fields should mail it in and not risk his career for this pathetic front office and this organization. Save yourself for the next team.

  12. Still more excuses for Fields. Where were all these excuses for Mitch, who the same or more team problems. I say more because he had the fans, media, Coach against him. Go checkout how many times he was hit……….What they should have done was wait until they had the pieces in place before they played Fields. However it was get Mitch out ,Fields can learn through playing….how is that working out. You had a bridge QB,You let him go ..Also , what if they made all these improvements while he was there? Just go back an listen to the commentary he had to deal with for a year and a half….Nobody had any sympathy for him. Enough already about poor Justin Fields plight ……..see the open man, fire the ball ,have a plan. This is Nagy approach all over again.

  13. He said his L shoulder is hurting, gee if that's the only thing that hurts is a miracle. No 0 line will kill him. Kidda believe new management wants their own QB pick.

  14. He’s trash! Get his ass out of Chicago!!! He cannot read the defense. Spin bullshit!

  15. I used to put a lot of it on Justin fields that he can't hit open guys this kid's tough as hell getting his ass beat and he keeps getting up Bear Down

  16. I criticized Poles very early on and took a LOT of heat for it. I am vindicated.
I don't understand how you pay Reiff more than the entire WR room makes.
I don't get why TY Hilton and Fuller haven't been brought in for a look (among many other WR with past success put there).
There are vet offensive lineman who've been very good in the league who are still sitting around waiting.
I'm sorry, Mustipher continuing to start is a travesty.
Poles is in over his head. He's looking like Phil Emery 2.0 (the last guy from KC the Bears hired as GM…who got fired in 2 years).

  17. Bears are working on turning over the roster. Prior admin didn't help them out either with Leno playing LT for Washington.
Fields still needs to learn what NFL open is. I haven't seen film on Favre early years, when he was throwing all the interceptions, but he needs to learn when his arm talent can get the ball
    to the receiver.

  18. Local media covering up for being supportive in the beginning, and now they want to find someone to blame, because the fan base is upset. If the Bears had won last night, the criticism would have been more muted. Defense is playing fairly well and keeping us in games. The kicking game is scoring and punting has done alright too. Jones should not be returning punts for the rest of the year, cost us a couple of games now. The run game when working is good. The QB is making some top notch throws when called upon, but along with the good comes a few bad ones. Yes, the offensive line is horrible and needs to be reconfigured. Jenkins and Borom have seemingly played well. While the center and left side of the offensive line has sucked. Outside of Mooney the other receivers are JAGs and we need help, but we all knew what was going to happen this year with the hope that next year would be better. Does anyone think we would be better off with Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy and the team they had assembled for this year? Bad salaries, and players that were not producing. We would probably be 3-3, if those two were still here, instead we are 2-4.
