There was a preseason game vs I think the Nets his first season in Washington. He dropped like 40 and I remember thinking, “oh he’s still got it”. Every game he played w the Wizards was a treat for basketball fans.
Mike had a game winner against the nets/magic/jazz also
BTM is one of the best YouTube channels. Keep it up bro
Old Man Jordan had the hoop eyah eyah Ooooh……….😀
Sean, I love your highlights, clips, knowledge, etc,. etc., etc. but shut-up. Just say here are some of Dr. J's greatest plays, Larry Bird's clutch shot's, Moses Malone's career. Let the clips speek for themselves…
You have summarised it all well, go tear in my eye at your last remark about MJ's greatness 🙂 Indeed!
MJ is so great u can open a YouTube channel just showing clips of him and be successful.
That's greatness!
first 2 minutes 30 seconds is commercial after watching commercial. put that at end
Great video bro. Thanks. I teared up on that last one. Back in the day, I wished he hadn't come back because of how perfect his previous exit had been; going out on top with six rings (and we all know it would've been 8). But as I matured and gained my own experience with life, I could clearly see what he was after, and I'm so grateful he pursued his passion until he decided not to.
i still think that season back if MJ didn't hit his knee against Etan Thomas they would've made the playoff at least as a 3-4 seed. they were on a roll before MJ's injury.
Great video!!
Do you think Penny deserves to be in the Hall of Fame? That could be a good video
Still sends chills down my spine!
MJ the Goat of All Goats
Truly the Greatest of all Time!!!
The greatest to ever do it, Mj 🐐
You keep trimming the frame, just not to give credit of the original source. Shame
The block/steal/snatch on Ron Mercer, game winners against Suns/Cavs/Knicks are my favorite moments. Those moments are the epitome of "I took it personally". With the game winner, especially against the Cavs, I could hear and imagine Michael's thoughts: "You think you won? You made a mistake by leaving a time for me to get a good look and a shot off!"
Great video, David
even if I'd have put in a couple of other things …. When Michael outplayed defensivly prime Garnett, letting him at 0 points in the whole 2nd half of a game, and I'd have specified that the 51 game was followed by another with 46 points, to make 97 points in 2 games.
And all that came after a game in which he underperformed with 9 points and was criticized.
Totally agreed with the last comment of yours ….. MJ's years at Wizards showed his greatness again, specially considering he had been unactive for 3 and a half years!! …. and that from 35 to 38 and half ……. incredibile, specially considering the high level of athleticism that bball requires
There's only one Goat,
and it's not even close
He averaged 20 points a game and played every single game with the wizards and did it his last season at age 40!!!
I’m as passionate about Michael as you are Sir. I still get the chills seeing footage of the Basketball God in action. With everyone knowing he’s getting the last shot they still fail to keep it out of his hands and when it gets there the inability to stop him. Utterly amazing. I didn’t watch him with the Wizards because he is The Bulls. Also, he was older and I couldn’t bare to see him humanesque. He still had it tho from what you showed.
I guarantee you that if Michael Jordan will never lose his NBA skills and talent, he had, when he was on the court. If he came out of retirement today. I guarantee you 100% he'd put around 50pts on the board. That man will never lose his skills and talent in basketball 🏀 👏.
He had one of those crazy layups (only Jordan) vs. the Heat as well
The best part of that first clip is that the commentators were actually the Bulls hometown commentators, and the color commentator (legend Johnny Red Kerr) was probably the most excited person in the building
When MJ came to the Wizards it was all about MJ, not about the Wizards or winning.
And he took that personally
When you think of Jordan's Wizards days, you think of Kwame Brown.
That ball fake 😂😂. You reach I teach
I remember listening to Wizards games when Michael was on them and the excitement and interest he brought to the team. He added a lot to a franchise that needed a shot of adrenaline. I wish it could have gone longer but it was great while it lasted.
Of course Michael had a tremendous impact on the game which is still felt today. The interest he brought to the NBA was part of why the 80s and 90s are the golden era of the NBA, (this from a fan who remembers Dr. J as a Net and the 1970 Knicks-Lakers Final when Willis Reed played game 7 despite being hurt).
One example of how much interest MJ brought to the NBA is my Aunt Violet. Now she lived outside of Chicago, but she was most definitely not a sports fan. She knew of MJ and I remember her mentioning it to me. This was the only time we had any conversation about sports.
Jordan break the ankles of Vincer Carter as Wizard is so underrated.
Also his dunk on Jermaine was amazing too. But my favorite Wizards thing is 40+ points as a 40 year old against the Top 5 defensive team (Nets) omg ! Poor Jefferson.
Also 2003 All-Star cluch shot probably the best thing he ever did in those years.
I like watching his videos but he talk too much.
Heartfelt video!! Cheers Sean! 👍🏼
Before even watching the video I know Jordan pinning Ron Mercer on the glass to end the game is on here.
GREAT VIDEO!!!
Any era 🐐
That 2-handed block/steal was incredible! Also that other swat was definitely surprising!
My man Sean! Love your channel, please do a video on early 3-point specialists like Dell or 3D. Or legendary squads who didn't win it all but we remember them. Like the Hornets with Zo or Warriors with run TMC.
W
simply put he's the goat 🐐…
Ders No Doubt .. MJ was still d
G O A T
Correction: True GOATness … Thank you BTM, very nice walk down the memory lane … The two-hand block-steal was outwordly, hehe .. Cheers
I do more like to watch replays form MJ Games than i do like to watch current NBA without Defense…
Here's one "Curse" no one talks about, Ever..
The Dr. J curse.
Ok in the 70's ABA(NETS) and NBA(KNICKS), the City of New York was winning titles.
When the merger happen, the Knicks fined the Nets for playing in New York.
The Nets couldnt afford Dr.J's contract to Knicks. Knicks refused….
Since then Dr. J won a title in Philly, however the Knicks and the Nets have not won a title.
If I can find the fountain of youth I'm gonna have MJ drink from it and let him play in today's NBA
40 year old Mj spanks Sprewell ?+ !!!
I love hello fresh!
My biggest sadness for Jordan was the breaks he took from the game maybe they are part of his legacy and a testimate to his ability to come back twice and match it with the best but can you imagine the career stat's if he never retired the first or the second time. There would be zero question about the goat
