Lakers’ G/F Matt Ryan has made the team’s current opening night roster, as the team won’t waive him by today’s roster cut deadline, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Ryan shot 37.5 percent from 3-point land in preseason – including 20-point performance with six 3s last Sunday.

Rob saw those shooting percentages and said “OH FUCK NO.”
As tweeted by Shams Charania
He’s 6’7 and can shoot; hopefully he exceeds expectations.
I guess this shows how bad the rest of the team is at shooting, cause he literally had one good game.
Gelo got waived he didnt get much time in CHA but he can def shoot he had some solid outings in the Swarm. He can lowkey be like a Seth Curry/PJ Tucker type wing he a big wing.
Not surprising no real reason to keep a roster spot open except tax reasons because the Lakers won’t be a buyout destination later in the season
I like how unhesitant he is to shooting
Would rather PJ Dozier, Josh Jackson, or even Harkless.
Man had 1 good shooting game and didn’t do anything else. Also he can’t guard shit.
Yeah I’m fine with this. Still not guaranteed so we have two open spots if we needed them
I would keep Jay Huff and Swider on the 2 way deals. I think they could eventually contribute this season. Send Scottie Pippen Jr to the G league he needs more time to develop. Unfortunately I think Huff will end up getting cut and they will keep Pippen Jr.
Hey if he can knock down shots same way he did that warriors game, lock him in
The Lakers have an incompetent front office.
Not good signs for this season. This roster needs major changes
